Oh and fucking Olives!!

TheDarkPassenger · 09/02/2019 19:52

Soya
Green peppers cos they irritate my stomach
And as a coeliac I’d say gluten ruins any meal for me but I appreciate it must be nice to have non dusty bread

BlessThisMess · 09/02/2019 19:52

Coconut - like a PP I can taste even the slightest amount of it and it makes me want to vomit! Tesco' peanut cookies were RUINED by the inclusion of coconut!

Also chilli and black pepper - why would I want my tongue to burn??!!!

Madeline88 · 09/02/2019 19:52

Ooh yes celery and spring onion

HarryTheSteppenwolf · 09/02/2019 19:52

beetroot
fennel
mustard (except in piccalilli)
horseradish
tamarind

nocoolnamesleft · 09/02/2019 19:53

Onions, garlic, mushrooms.

Urgh.

And so many recipes start with at least one of them...

heatherblue · 09/02/2019 19:53

Vinegar, kidneys and most cheeses. I'm really not a cheese fan at all and blue cheese in particular is EVIL.

I'm amazed at how many don't like mushrooms and coriander, love both!

anxiousbundle · 09/02/2019 19:54

I wish I liked celery- I love the crunchy sound it makes but the stuff is vile, no matter how small it is!🤮

Some people drink full on celery juice in the mornings! Clearly masochists!

HardAsSnails · 09/02/2019 19:54

Celery
Olives
Avocado
Tarragon
Fennel
Sweetcorn in things or with gravy

MrsMartinRohde · 09/02/2019 19:58

mint - unless it's in chocolate

tarragon

fennel

fruit, including dried, in savoury dish

caraway seeds - vile vile vile

HeyDelRey · 09/02/2019 19:59

White pepper. Makes anything it is in taste of school dinners c. 1979.

TheNoodlesIncident · 09/02/2019 19:59

CRACKED BLACK PEPPER Angry

So many dishes ruined by this vile mouth assassin

Also not a fan of coriander or celery, but at least it's in plain sight - cracked black pepper hides in perfectly ordinary meals or sandwiches and ruins them all M&S I'm looking at YOU Sad

CallMeSirShotsFired · 09/02/2019 19:59

Salted caramel anything.

Salt - good
Caramel - good.

Just stop fucking combining them in everything!

Lou0390 · 09/02/2019 20:00

Gravy. Or any other sauce not applied at the last minute to crispy food, that therefore renders it soggy. I don't want sweaty, festering under the lights sludge.

SoSaidTheHorse · 09/02/2019 20:02

Yes to gravy! Revolting stuff and it makes everything taste the same.

blackteasplease · 09/02/2019 20:03

Ketchup or mayonnaise (put into the cooking. I don't mind mayo as a dip).

Can taste ketchup a mile of and it totally ruins anything it's added to.

Also baked beans put into cooking.

blackteasplease · 09/02/2019 20:04

But I agree celery cooked in anything is no good. raw celery fine

julensaor · 09/02/2019 20:05

honey
almonds
tarragon
lemongrass
olives

wow coriander is really hated.

BentNeckLady · 09/02/2019 20:07

Dill tastes absolutely disgusting. I can barely believe anyone actually likes it.
