To think Tina Malone deserves no sympathy

She's in trouble legally for allegedly sharing photos of one of James Bulgar's killers. She is getting lots of support online but I think people are letting their hatred of the crime cloud their judgement. Surely exploiting a tragedy to get attention is not something that should be applauded! This wasn't done with any intention of "helping" James's family, was it?

I think theyre scum bags so i really couldn't give a fuck.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 26/01/2019 09:38

Didn’t she share a tweet or something like that? People make this mistake of ‘in the public domain’ with something being legal/reasonable.

Bluntness100 · 26/01/2019 09:38

Did she exploit it for attention? How do you know that was her driving force. And yes I do have sympathy, two years in jail when those images were shared many times, and of course the crime clouds people's judgement.

Get over yourself.

twirlbabytwirl · 26/01/2019 09:39

They deserve everything that comes to them!

Onlyjoinedforthisthread · 26/01/2019 09:40

She claims she didn't know, yet claims to be a friend of the parents
His dad wants him identified and isvtsking it to court
His mum doesn't .
She is either lying or thick neither is an excuse.

My sympathy lies with the parents and not people like this who are deliberately stirring up hatred which will not help anyone. She deserves what she gets

Onlyjoinedforthisthread · 26/01/2019 09:59

And for those saying they deserve what the get, possibly true but their identity is protected to protect others to, some one with the same name that they have been given or someone who looks similar who may hace just moved to a new area at the same time as that tweet and gets misidentified and lynched, or do you think that is ok

poldarkssecretlover · 26/01/2019 10:07

Bluntness100 what was her reason do you think then? To make sure that whoever is in the photo gets attacked? Does she think she will be thanked for inciting that? That her name will be everywhere when she is taken to court? People do these things out of self interest. James's poor parents are always getting their tragedy cynically exploited by self serving celebrities and film makers. It shows a vulgar side of human nature.

Yanbu. It’s tasteless ambulance chasing.

YABU

derxa · 26/01/2019 10:14

I think theyre scum bags so i really couldn't give a fuck. This sums it up.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 26/01/2019 10:17

She's stupid to go against a court order so she'll have to face the consequences.

pictish · 26/01/2019 10:17

Except if you share a photo of the wrong person (as you can’t possibly know)...so you know, don’t be a dumbass.

Bluelady · 26/01/2019 10:19

No sympathy whatsoever. If you break the law, you take the consequences.

Onlyjoinedforthisthread · 26/01/2019 10:24

derxa
Then you are as stupid as her, don't you think about the innocent people who could easily be misidentified by her or others like her

mouthkisses · 26/01/2019 10:25

Their identity is legally protected. What was she aiming to achieve by sharing the information? What was her motivation? Was it accidental? Carried away? Or was she inciting violent retribution? To turn a blind eye is to condone the latter.

The acting gigs have dried up, then?

princessTiasmum · 26/01/2019 10:30

Strange how she has been picked out though, that image has been online for a very long time, and also one of him [allegedly] as an adult
He actually lived not far from my sister and told people who he was, although if that was actually true i am surprised he was still walking about

PavlovianLunge · 26/01/2019 10:30

I suspect she knew the law, knew that their identities are protected, and named them/him anyway.

If people want to support her, that’s their business, but I think it’s down to her to deal with the consequences of her actions.

And as only said, her behaviour might well put others in harm’s way.

That said, I have zero sympathy for the killers. They chose (and in the case of Venables, continue to choose) their actions; they have to face the consequences.

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 26/01/2019 10:31

Who is Tina Malone?

TheCowboy · 26/01/2019 10:34

@CoughLaughFart

Yes yes yes! Exactly this.

southeastdweller · 26/01/2019 10:34

I absolutely agree. She deserves everything she gets. Of course she knew what she did was wrong.

BettysWoo · 26/01/2019 10:37

I doubt she gave it that much thought. Retweet takes a second, if that.

derxa · 26/01/2019 10:42

Then you are as stupid as her, Cheers Grin Actually you are probably right that it endangers innocent people. And Tina Malone is an attention seeker who thinks she's the voice of the people.

My only sympathy lies with poor Denise Fergus who has to live with a terrible heart ache every day of her life. People preying off the death of her son like that film maker who's been nominated for an Oscar. Just why?

WaxMyBalls · 26/01/2019 10:43

She's a fucking idiot.
