To expect my boyfriend to drive me home?

I've been seeing him for 4 months now.
Last Saturday night I stayed at his house (he lives about 30 mins away and I always get the train as it's quick and the station is only a few mins from his house.
Went over ordered food etc and went to bed.
Around 1am I woke up feeling sick and from 1am was vomiting every 10 mins then the stomach pains started,I was dripping in sweat and nearly passed out in the bathroom.
This continued all night and didn't sleep a wink.
It got to 10am and I said there's no way I can get on the train like this (it's a 2 carriage train and it's always full the time it gets to his station)
He said "what you gonna do then?"
I said I don't know (his car is sat on the drive here, thinking he would offer to drive me home)
He didn't so I had to get a taxi and sit in the back of the taxi with a carrier bag incase I vomited.
Luckily I didn't..it was the longest journey ever.
Aibu to think he should have drove me home?

Hi just text him, tell him it's not working,. And be done with him.

Italiangreyhound · 24/01/2019 11:17

ritabe whether or not you are having sex is totally up to you but whatever is going on I am glad to hear this...

"I won't be seeing him again as I'm just not feeling this at all."

mumoflittlemice · 24/01/2019 11:17

Good move OP Smile

Raise your expectations for your next boyfriend, I'm sure you will Wink

Sproutingcorm · 24/01/2019 11:20

What Italiangreyhound said!

Good luck to you op. Go and find a kind man!

BottleOfJameson · 24/01/2019 11:20

I'd be grateful this happened four months in and you don't end up having kids with this lazy, selfish fecker. If he's such selfish dick when you're in the first few months god knows what he'd be like after a few kids.

Aeroflotgirl · 24/01/2019 11:23

He sits back like a king and let's you do the running. He shows no care when your I'll, this will be your life if you stay with him, good on you for dumping his ass.

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 24/01/2019 11:35

Of course he should’ve driven you.

Good on you for ending things.

peridito · 24/01/2019 11:36

Bin him and find someone who really cares about you.

toriatoriatoria · 24/01/2019 11:52

He doesn't find your welfare very important, it's time to move on from him. Sometimes people show you who they really are and you've got to believe them.

user1474894224 · 24/01/2019 12:13

Sorry this happened to you. My OH would have been at the chemist getting me medicine and making sure I was ok. He doesn't really drive - didn't at the start of the relationship - so would have come back with me to make sure I was ok. On our first holiday together he got an attack of a long term condition (which we didn't know about at the time) and could hardly walk - I drove him home about a 2 hour drive because there was no way he could manage the train journey with or without me. (I then got very lost in London with no map in the rain and completely disorientated - these were pre-smartphone days....he stayed on the phone to me while he looked up in his a-z where I was and directed me back to a route I knew. Lol. That was a little bit stressful - can't remember why I had no map.)

Asta19 · 24/01/2019 12:21

I think it's good you've seen him for who he is so early on. Stay strong, you can do so much better Flowers

MissSBluebell · 24/01/2019 12:27

@ritabe Oh dear, think we’re nearly in the same boat! My relationship has just ended, after a year for me. My boyfriend slowly stopped making any sort of effort and I’m sure it was so I’d end things because he didn’t have the bottle. We didn’t go out anywhere, do anything - He would just come to mine and fall asleep on the sofa! Even that started to wear off as he was “too tired” from work to see me. I spent almost £200 on him at Christmas - He spent considerably less and ignored my wish list.

I don’t know why people act like it but once you start feeling worthless you need to get out. Honestly, you are better being on your own than flogging a dead horse (which is funny, a dead horse would have been better company) Flowers

hellsbellsmelons · 24/01/2019 12:30

What are the reasons for not having sex as yet?
Nothing wrong with that, I'm just curious.
He's making NO effort at all for you is he?
I'm glad you've seen him for what he is and are not seeing him again.
Raise your bar for the next time.
If a guy won't make the effort for you then he's no good.
Stop doing all the running.
NEXT...!!!!

ritabe · 24/01/2019 12:58

We haven't had sex because he has erectile problems.
We've tried,I've tried all sorts but nothing.
That's another problem too.

ILoveChristmasLights · 24/01/2019 12:58

Wise decision, but you REALLY need to look at HOW this lasted 4 months.

ShatnersWig · 24/01/2019 13:01

How has it taken you 4 months to not be feeling this?!!
You really need to look at your expectations of a relationship.

This.

hellsbellsmelons · 24/01/2019 13:03

He probably doesn't want to leave his big TV because that's where he watches porn and wanks.
Maybe not - I'm just making assumptions now.
How old is he?
Has he seen a doctor about his ED problem?

whitetoblerone · 24/01/2019 13:10

Very wise decision, OP. He is not a very nice person! Hope you can find someone who actually cares about others! I like to see the good in everybody, but basic kindness has been bypassed here!

JustanotherCHRISTMASuser01 · 24/01/2019 13:14

I can't think of a single person I know if they was ill with me and I wasn't due at work or something i wouldn't run home. leave him

Shallishanti123 · 24/01/2019 13:18

Sack the floppy-dicked knobber off.
You can do way better!

Aeroflotgirl · 24/01/2019 13:24

Op just dump the bastard, you were clearly sick, asking you "what you gonna do then", instead of saying "Right Ritab, you are nit well at all, stay at mine until yiur better" In between looking after you. Nasty prick he is, plus it is you going to see him, he does not care to go and see yiu, with some crap excuse about not liking your tv!

Bluestitch · 24/01/2019 13:30

Christ what are you getting out of this relationship, apart from doing all the running around and no sex? I doubt his TV is big enough to make him worth the effort.

Aus84 · 24/01/2019 13:37

You can do better OP. If this is what he's like now in what's supposed to be the honeymoon phase, imagine what he will be like down the track.

IsItThatTimeAgain · 24/01/2019 13:42

There's plenty of fish in the sea, so I'd chuck that one back. No one likes a selfish fish that lacks empathy.
