...and how much exercise you got?

Very interested to hear what amount and type of food people's daily diet consists of,and whether it's obviously a lot more or less than I eat, or more nutritious or not.

I had a day without exercise so far, total consumption two slices of home-bake bread, a cup large mug of tea, and 2 x that of coffee.

Planning to eat a jacket pot for dinner now, with beans and a little grated cheese. Oh, and an orange for breakfast.

I am a few stone overweight, from Christmas excesses, but steadily losing it. (Not mentally, I mean weight!) Grin

2x wholemeal toast with scrambled egg
Muller yogurt, some loveheart sweets
Cheese salad sandwich on poppy seed roll
Muller yogurt
chicken stir fry with black bean sauce

No exercise - don't weight myself but approximately size 8 - huge argument at work today with colleague who thought it appropriate to again say I need to gain weight and 'must be the skinniest in the department' - asked her if it would be ok to comment on someone who was overweight (she is) - she had the grace to agree inappropriate and apologised.

Leftover lasagna
Pick n mix from the cinema (about ten mini eggs and some chocolate coated raisins)
Just had some chicken goujons because I realised how hungry I was

I drink milk throughout the day

It's exam season and I'm not very good at meals without a routine, it's fine for about a fortnight, then it starts to mess me up.

Omg Teddy now you're talking!

I like salads without any kind of bacon, protein, just lots of leaves (baby spinach) baby toms, chopped cucumber, grated carrot, but not entirely naked...carrot with fresh mayo, and drizzled with balsamic and hemp oil (for all my omegas)

@sconnotscone @Itsmenotyouisntit

It's taken quite a while and adaptation to get used to one meal a day. I've done a lot of low carb and keto over the years to control my propensity to put on weight when I'm eating 3 meals a day and including standard UK diet.

I usually eat heartily on my one meal. Sometimes it's low carb, seasonly it's not, and I also enjoy a glug of whatever is going around. I am really sedentary though with a desk job, and probably average about 6k steps a day.

The positives of it are that it's really hard to put on weight. Christmas/holidays are the only time I'll put some pounds on, cos I'm eating ridiculously hearty and drinking festively. Other than that, if I'm eating out, chippy tea, raiding the kids chocolates, it generally all evens out. If I eat clean, stop drinking, then weight falls off. I only need to do that post Christmas or holidays and I'm back to skinny (not ripped) in a couple of weeks.

Doremisofarsogood · 19/01/2019 00:22

Half a ham salad sandwich with carrot sticks, celery and dip
Home made fish fillets and rainbow fries with salad for dinner
About 5 cups of tea
3 litres of water
1.5 hour gym workout
23000 steps
Then ruined it all by having 2 shortbread biscuits and raided the kids sweets!

Have lost the half a stone that I gained over Christmas, now want to lose another stone. Not sure I can keep it up though, the no alcohol is the real test for me!!
