Stub your toe. Stubbed little toe earlier on the table leg. Of course no shoes or slippers on to cushion the blow. Air very quickly turned blue Blush followed by toe turning a lovely shade of bluey/purple. Nice 9 hour shift later and it is bloody agony.

But yes, I agreed there's nothing like a toe stub. I think it's the most painful thing that happens annoyingly regularly, anyway.

Toptheginup · 09/01/2019 05:31

Standing on spiky Christmas light thingy circa 1990s

Opening a car door and whacking my shin

Spilling a full jug of red hot gravy on my hands

Stubbing little toe and nearly snapping it

Luckily I've not experienced gallstones but have heard they are worse than labour

Toptheginup · 09/01/2019 05:33

Ooh and burning hand on straightening irons Sad

WeepingSong · 09/01/2019 06:16

Jabbing a fondue fork through my hand and then having to pull it out.

SecretWitch · 09/01/2019 06:18

Sunburned nips. First time topless sunbathing, thinking you have coated everything with SPF 50, only to have blood red nipples, so painful you can’t stand air blowing across them 9 hours later.

RussellSprout · 09/01/2019 06:20

Having iodine rubbed all over your eyeball then injection needle right in your eye... do I win?

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 09/01/2019 06:28

@WorriedinWorcester that made me feel funny. Eurgh Shock

maddiemookins16mum · 09/01/2019 06:33

Two more words, DRY SOCKET.

cricketmum84 · 09/01/2019 06:36

Breaking an acrylic nail. Especially where it lifts your natural nail off the nail bed. It throbbed for days!

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 09/01/2019 06:36

I broke my middle toe 2 days before my wedding rushing around sorting my stuff out and had to hobble down the aisle with a very black and broken toe in heels. Thank god for wine 🍷

Bittermints · 09/01/2019 06:47

Cramp in the thigh is nasty. Wears off eventually but incapacitating while it's happening and leaves an ache behind for a day or two. Not as bad as many other things mentioned here, though!

BusterGonad · 09/01/2019 06:57

A crohns flare up that last 12 hours or more, oh the cramping, the pain, all you want to do is be sick or have a shit and you can't do either, he'll on earth!
A colonoscopy with active crohns. Like a hot poker in a open wound!
Stubbing your little toe on the coffee table, breaking it then having to push in back in position! (With a child sat on the sofa so you can't fucking swear) I still finished my pedicure mind you!

AliTheMinx · 09/01/2019 06:59

Kidney stone stuck in a tube - no pain like it ...I was delirious!
Childbirth - indescribable horror causing PTSD :-(
Caught/Pulled nail leaving exposed nail bed - mind blowing my awful
Wisdom tooth pain - utterly ghastly!

TroysMammy · 09/01/2019 07:04

Tidying up your lady garden with a nail scissors and managing to snip a fanny flap.

Gigglebrain · 09/01/2019 07:06

Having a Morton’s neuroma. It’s like having a stone in your shoe, but it’s under your skin.

sulflower · 09/01/2019 07:13

I feel your pain literally. It's like electric shocks shooting through your foot.

bastedyoungturkey · 09/01/2019 07:19

Piles

ItsQuietTime · 09/01/2019 07:23

Dropped a full can of cleaner on my big bare toe when I was a child, I think the white hot pain was worse then labour. It split my nail in half, lots of bleeding, screaming, and wailing ensued. My toenail is still odd looking.

IJustLostTheGame · 09/01/2019 07:27

Removing your contact lenses and removing most of your corneas along with.
I was literally smashing my head against the wall with pain and was blind for a few days.
Never never never never again.
I would rather repeat my back to back labour resulting in a fourth degree tear for my 9lb baby.

I dont wear contacts anymore.

livelyredjellybean · 09/01/2019 07:37

For me it was dry socket after having a tooth removed. Absolute worst pain I had ever experienced!

I think my DH’s most recent worst pain was me throwing a (rather large) log at his head... entirely accidentally!!!

PatchworkElmer · 09/01/2019 07:41

Toddler head butting your eye socket at 4am, when you were sleeping soundly. Honestly thought my eye socket was fractured.

Drogosnextwife · 09/01/2019 07:48

I can't read this any more, its making my fanny clench!

BlueJava · 09/01/2019 07:50

When he was about 5 my DS got a glass leg of a reindeer Christmas ornament in his foot. He screamed the hospital down!

Bee1992 · 09/01/2019 07:51

You got a good one

flumpybear · 09/01/2019 07:55

Two terrible pains

Bad kidney infection - thought I was going g to die

In growing toenail that was already very painful and found it hard to walk/ out normal sized shoes on and I managed to stub my toe on a kerb 😭😭😭
