lipstick, she’s an amazing 20 yr old now, but her brain will never recover from the damage. Time, and loving her, has taught me that it’s pointless to be angry about the girl she could’ve been, because she’s the girl she is- and she’s pretty fantastic.

I was angry at the time- so angry, and with good reason on her behalf, but I’ve worked through it, and not because someone who hadn’t got that experience told me that my anger was unreasonable- because people were gentle with both me and my daughter, and I found a better way to be 😊.
