pedrapapeletesoura.wordpress.com/2017/09/14/map-starting-guide/

A growing number of MAP (minor attracted people) accounts are forming a network on Twitter. There is a push to normalise and legitimise being sexually attracted to children. The “guide” I have linked is chilling, as are the accounts with MAP tags - they often have AOA in their bio...their “age of attraction”. So AOA 6mnths-4 years is a sexual attraction to children of that age.

Twitter is a huge business, with enormous power - they could, if they chose, take a stand against this.

@iwrotetheguide

You are fucking vile!

SmileEachDay · 06/01/2019 08:22

Iwrote

Dunno if you actually wrote “the guide” but this:

It says, a few times, that acting on pedophilia is irresponsible, even if the pedophile means no harm whatsoever

Read that again.

Now. Can you tell me what is so very, very wrong with it?

Also what’s with the coy “pretend I wasn’t here”

I don’t think this is an especially lighthearted topic.

Yet more evidence of the damage that 30 years of readily available intrrnet porn has caused.

Fucked up individuals who actually believe having sex with children doesnt harm them.

People without children who want to help them.

Almost unbelievable to anyone with children that such people exist. I almost blame the facilitators like the previous poster more. God know what kind of abusive upbringing you'd have to have had to be a teengaer with MAP on their profile, but to want to guide or facilitate or promote paedophilia is truly, truly absurd.

Sunday Times article about the influx of accounts on Twitter

Bloody disgraceful on the part of Twitter, hope this thread is picked up by the tabloids and exposed. MAP bullshit, paedophiles, abusers.

The Times has a piece on Twitter with regards to this today. I’ll see if I can find the link.

SmileEachDay · 06/01/2019 09:05

I’ve posted it up there ^

Fuck me.

Twitter is the online equivalent of talking to people down at the pub

Five years ago, this would have been unthinkable. These people on a "normal" Internet platform.

What the fuck has happened?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 06/01/2019 09:13

Thanks smile - missed it on here (it’s on twitter).

Datun · 06/01/2019 09:53

According to the article they only removed some offending (really awful) accounts after the paper complained. Plus people saying it might be a hoax from 4chan. Who cares? Delete them anyway.

It doesn't look good when the twitter founder is photographed with an individual who wants to help 10 year olds with tampons, either.

But happy to ban women for maintaining current equality law.

The comment

"Twitter is a misogynistic cess pool"

sums it up.

Qcng · 06/01/2019 09:53

Shocked to read through this thread about normalising paedophilia via Twitter which is shocking enpugh in itself, then to have it derailed by the AWA to make it all about trans, like everything has to be about them, constantly, you have composed yourself beautifully on this thread SmileEachDay.
My partner works on t'internets and things, will be sending him the Times article and chatting later.

I think it's because they've been booted off Tumblr and other platforms (good) so Twitter needs to catch up now. We can't let them mobilise, share ideas, fantasies, advice, etc. Anyone with child abuse fantasies needs professional help. Not acceptance without exception.

Penguincake · 06/01/2019 10:49

Was my comment deleted because I called a paedophile advocate disgusting? WTAF is going on?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 06/01/2019 10:53

Did you name a name?

SmileEachDay · 06/01/2019 10:55

MNHQ - why did you delete those posts?

OP posts:
Penguincake · 06/01/2019 10:56

Nope, it was in response to a poster who claimed to have written the pedo guide. I called him disgusting and Beansonpost called him vile. Both of our comments were deleted. Are we not allowed to call paedophilies disgusting or vile?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 06/01/2019 10:59

They probably complained to mnhq. Was that the one the popped in last night?

Datun · 06/01/2019 11:03

Penguincake

Send HQ an email. They might have been a bit trigger happy by mistake. It's an emotive subject.

BubonicWoman · 06/01/2019 11:05

What is AWA?

Qcng · 06/01/2019 11:20

Anti Woman Activists

treehugger13 · 06/01/2019 11:21

Grim.

Datun · 06/01/2019 11:53

Anti women activists. It's a good term. Because it encompasses all sorts of people, not just MRAs etc.

And it's fairly obvious if someone is one. Whatever you're talking about, they will back up to the anti women stance. Whilst trying to make it look pro something else.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 06/01/2019 11:55

It doesn't look good when the twitter founder is photographed with an individual who wants to help 10 year olds with tampons, either

WHAT??!!!! Just why on earth would they willingly be associated with someone like that?? Shock

Datun · 06/01/2019 12:01

I don't know, puzzled. But they are getting that photo deleted wherever they see it.

Call me old-fashioned, but I personally think a better approach would be to address it by saying I do not associate with this person and I do not agree with them.

But maybe there's a reason why they don't say that.
