6 cups of tea
2 slices panettone
I apple
1 slice Xmas cake
1/2 a scone with cream and jam

I did walk 5 miles scross country (still on holiday) but we stopped at a NT place en route hence the scone...

Will be having fish pie and salad for supper

No point in trying to start post- Xmas food sensibleness until all the cake and chocolates are gone - another 2 days should do it!

FreakForHummous · 02/01/2019 18:37

I slept late so skipped breakfast!

Lunch was vegan pepper jack cheese on toast with sliced tomatoes.

For Dinner vegetable jalfrezi, onion bhajis, aloo gobi and flatbread. Followed by a handful of raspberry ruffles.

Will treat myself to a scotch in a bit 🥃

YesSheCan · 02/01/2019 18:37

Still on finishing up Christmas food diet:
Breakfast: chocolate mousse and brandy cream. Coffee
Lunch: cheddar and chutney sandwich
Dinner: gammon, parnsip and chickpea soup, added the just out of date double cream to vastly improve it.
Pudding (waiting for it to cook): individual M&S Christmas pudding. Rest of the double cream. Brandy butter.

Healthy smoothies probably won't start until next week...

itsallgravybaby · 02/01/2019 18:38

I love these threads because I'm nosey but I also hate them cos it makes me realise what an actual pig I am :(

How do some of you survive on just toast and coffee?!

PurpleWithRed · 02/01/2019 18:38

B: frozen berries (defrosted and hot), handful of all bran, benecol and quark.
L: home made minestrone from stock from the xmas ham + home grown kale (+ additional whitely), slice of bread and butter, a tangerine and some grapes
D: will be spag Bol
12,489 cups of tea. Stomach is wondering where the endless stream of mince pies has gone.

notsurewhatshappening · 02/01/2019 18:39

Hot cross bun and 2 plums
Minestrone soup and 2 slices buttered bread
2 slices pizza and a magnum
Not very nutritious really.

Bluffinwithmymuffin · 02/01/2019 18:39

Today 18:22 Thesearmsofmine

Not great today, very beige

Thank God it’s not just me.... I’m a walking beige carb atm, and have been for about a week - Christmas leftovers finally all gone, will try harder tomorrow.... Breakfast today was toast and Marmite, lunch was cheese and crackers, dinner will be (leftover) chicken, mushroom and spinach pie with roasted veg.

mamaduckbone · 02/01/2019 18:39

I was on one of these threads before Christmas and found it quite a good way of keeping track.
Today’s been my first day of eating vaguely normally but still not great.
B - a waffle made in Ds1’S new waffle machine!
L - one slice seedy toast, 2 poached eggs, spinach.
D - bean burger in a brioche bun with cheese and salsa, coleslaw, salad, wedges.
S - 1 leftover chocolate truffle, 1 digestive biscuit, 1/2 a pear, clementine, latte.
Lots of decaf tea and coffee, orange squash.

leaveby10 · 02/01/2019 18:39

A pub lunch - meant to go half & half with dh - half a fish and chip and some beef suet pudding.

AliasGrape · 02/01/2019 18:40

Oh god we’re still in Christmas leftover land here and I’m still of work so it’s not ideal ....

B: 2 clementines, 2 mugs of tea, a ferrero rocher then mid morning a piece of wholmeal toast with butter
L: 4 rosemary crackers and some celery sticks with the last of the Boursin, pickled onions and cherry tomatoes, another ferrero rocher
D: Salmon fillets done in the oven with soy, ginger and lime then I made a stir fry with the last of the sprouts, some peppers, spring onions, ginger, garlic, chilli and randomly some chives as we had a bunch left from Christmas day, and some rice noodles. Was going to aim for a vegetarian diet this year rather than current pescatarian, but need to use what we have in first.
DP has just brought in what’s left of the after eights, I’m on my 3rd telling myself that’s it for today!

Bluffinwithmymuffin · 02/01/2019 18:40

....oh yes, and a glass of red Wine

Bubba1234 · 02/01/2019 18:40

A million cups of tea throughout the day.
Breakfast: banana
Snack: about 7 biscuits
Lunch: homemade tuna & mayo sandwich on white bread
4pm: a little bit of leftover veggie stir fry from last night
6pm: roast chicken potatoes Brussel sprouts w real gravy
I’m hoping that’s it for the night but I be starving after a run

whenwillthetwitchstrike · 02/01/2019 18:41

I'm another one who woke up with good intentions but failed in the face of Christmas leftovers. The good news is that I have eaten the remains of the chocolate Santa, the last four chunks of my chocolate orange, the penultimate mince pie and slice of Christmas cake and the remains of the Gorgonzola and yarg. The absence of these from the cupboard and the fact I will be at work tomorrow should mean tomorrow's diet will be healthier. I'm currently boiling a couple of eggs to take with me tomorrow and have already put some fruit in my bag.

ShortandSweet96 · 02/01/2019 18:42

Breakfast - a cereal bar when I got into work.

ShortandSweet96 · 02/01/2019 18:44
