Haven’t seen one of these threads in a while and I like hearing what over people have been eating 👀🍴

I’ll go first! 😬
Breakfast:
Oats so simple mixed berries porridge made with milk
Lunch:
Chicken tikka butty bought from a sandwich shop!
Tea:
Homemade stir fry with black bean sauce and soy sauce
Snacks:
1 rice crispy marshmallow square bar
2 mini tangerines

1 banana
2 marks and Spencer’s biscuits
Liquid:
Cups of tea and coffee
1800ml of cordial
1 can of Rio tropical

Lunch - 2 pizza slices
Dinner - bean burger and onion rings

I got up too late for breakfast as I’m unwell with a chest infection.

I started the day with tea.
Lunch was hummus and a pita bread. Greek yogurt corner.
Dinner was a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw.
That’s it for me. I’ve had a few glasses of water and juice today, and am just contemplating putting the kettle on to have a cuppa.

Breakfast: croissant and black coffee (real bean to cup coffee none of that instant crap)
Elevenses: Activia strawberry yoghurt
Lunch: Beans on toast (half tin 2 x slices of brown bread) - shared with toddler
Evening meal: Chicken Khatsu curry with coconut rice -Bavaria alcohol free lager
I am now trying to be good with snacks so am being restrained despite the remaining Christmas quality street currently winking at me

  • Ham and cheese rolled up
  • Buffalo chicken casserole (cream cheese, jalapeños and bacon 🤤) with broccoli
  • Pork chop with purple sprouting broccoli (was supposed to be spinach but broccoli was reaching its expiry) with creamy peppercorn sauce

First day of trying to loose 2 stone today so:
Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: half a carton of tom and basil soup
Tea: spicy satay stir fry
Snacks: left over truffles (last of the Xmas snacks, no more will be purchased!)

Umm not a good day - a handful of pringles for breakfast, some mince pie fudge and a couple of crackers with pate (healthy mackerel pate!) lunch and tex mex snacks and ribs (reduces to clear for just £3 enough for 4 adults and the dog) for tea but I did have some baby leaf salad with it (rest of family passed on it!) diet begins on Monday after dd goes back to school.

B: bran flakes with prunes and milk and a coffee
L: bacon, cream cheese and cucumber seeded roll
D: pasta with tomato and veg sauce, trifle for pudding
Snacks: 2 apples, 4 clementines, some leftover Christmas chocs

Breakfast: 4 slices of honey on toast

Lunch: Half a pepperoni pizza

Afternoon snack: 4 scotch pancakes with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and a drizzle of honey

Dinner: A monster of an Indian takeaway, tandoori starter, chicken tikka masala, saag rice, Bombay potatoes, 3 samosas, naan bread and 4 poppadoms

Pudding: Haagen daz

I’m still celebrating Christmas so I’ve had:
B -stollen bite and slice buttery toast. Tea.
L - chicken curry n rice ready meal. Diet Coke.
D- I will have homemade lasagna, garlic bread and salad later, with wine.

I’ve also had 4 chocolates, 2 Gs&T and a big ladle of extra béchamel sauce!
The 2019 detox is going to hit me hard on Monday!

L: Oakwood smoked cheddar
sandwich, falafel and crisps

D: Pizza

Much fizzy water, tea and coffee. Really need to eat more fruit and veg

I always like reading these threads!

Breakfast: banana and cup of tea

Lunch: mozzarella and tomato salad, 4 slices streaky bacon

Afternoon tea: small bit of Xmas cake, 2 crackers with cheddar, cup of tea

Dinner: baked salmon fillet, steamed broccoli, spiralised courgette cooked with garlic and cream

2 small bars green & black dark chocolate

Probably had about 6 pints of water too.

Not feeling great - flu type cold and nausea.

Breakfast:milky porridge
Lunch: leftover roast lamb, freshly cooked potato, carrots, broccoli.
Dinner: butternut squash and goats cheese soup - amazing stuff, very large helping.
Small banana.

B: I reeeeeeeally wanted porridge this morning but only had enough milk for toddler's porridge, so had 2 slices of toast with marmalade + jam, cup of tea
L: homemade spicy butternut squash soup, raspberry yoghurt
D: homemade breaded baked fish, chips & peas

Snacks: grapes, far too many chocolates and biscuits (in my defense, fruit and veg box didn't come until nearly 5 and big food shop isn't here until tomorrow so not much food in the house)
Drinks: 3 cups of tea, several glasses of squash/water, and might have a small hot chocolate soon.
