Since I can’t find a thread in the Christmas Forum?

I love hearing about other people’s gifts, good, bad and humorous.

I’ve had a crappy Christmas (really poorly and missed every party/family day) but loved my gifts from everyone which was my only positive part of the season!

I will start, my favs are:
Hive with Alexa
A handmade poem in a frame from DD2
A Disney quiz game from DD1
Gorgeous Ted Baker pjs from my Mum

I didn’t get any bad gifts this year, so no funnies there!

Kids got some funny musical things in their stockings which were like spinning tops which played Axel F and lit up (and they spent ages playing with them),

What did Santa bring you? X

Some lovely gifts here! Oh how wonderful to find an engagement ring in a cracker - congrats!

Love the rolling pin haha and the year supply of deodorants :)

Bet the photo gifts were fantastic :)

I am sitting in new PJs, dressing gown and slippers reading one of my new books :)

Hoping I feel better soon so I can get my new fondue maker set up and make some cheese and bread :)

StarUtopia · 27/12/2018 22:29

A bottle of perfume and some moisturiser.

I do find it astonishing how much adult women get for Christmas! My kids would have to go without for me to get anything else. Clearly though, I guess if you have plenty of money, why not! This year was pretty good. Not had any presents for the last 5 years.

FutureDays · 27/12/2018 22:50

Headphones that I can use with bluetooth or cable on my old ipod
A bottle of grapefruit gin
A book and CD that I've been wanting

I'm a lucky lady

I bought my husband the vr headset for his playstation and it has been hilarious watching him jump in surprise with the scary game he has been playing

fartwhenyoustandup · 27/12/2018 22:53

I kind of agree with a previous poster... are those of you who received lots very wealthy? We spent about £1700 on our three children and got each other nothing. If we had they wouldn't have received Hoverboards, new iPhones, tv's etc.

My partners ex wife doesn't buy anything for her children. Her dad buys them it all. Which means she has lots of money to dorms treating her new boyfriend. That doesn't sit right with me. Christmas is about the kids.
