I would have bucks fizz followed by Pina coladas but we have to drive and visit.

So, we are having m&s blini's, soft whipped cheese, smoked salmon, caviar and prawns.

What's on your menu?

Eggs Benedict, clementine juice, lattes. DD will have chocolate.

easyandy101 · 24/12/2018 16:01

Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon

themoomoo · 24/12/2018 16:03

Nothing so I can do full justice to Christmas lunch

ChessieFL · 24/12/2018 16:03

Bucks Fizz and bacon sandwiches!

TheSheepofWallSt · 24/12/2018 16:05

Cinnamon rolls, crumpets and jam while unwrapping presents with DS (it’ll be before dawn... sugar needed!)

We’ll have smoked salmon, creek fraiche and blinis and champagne at brunch time.

Pascha · 24/12/2018 16:05

Toast. Full Christmas dinner followed by tea at the in-laws means a big breakfast is out of the question.

golondrina · 24/12/2018 16:05

Usually a, normal breakfast, just toast and so on. This year I've bought a big thing of chocolate pastries from Costco so I don't even have to be arsed making toast. :)

CollapsedGingerbreadHouse · 24/12/2018 16:08

Croissants and gluten free panettone, coz gf croissants are rank, and tea made in a pot.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 24/12/2018 16:08

Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and croissants with champagne, tea, coffee or orange juice.

Have had that every Xmas morning for about 25y!

GiBlues · 24/12/2018 16:09

I wrap the turkey in bacon while it’s cooking, put it in the oven at 7am then when the turkey is done I take the bacon off and we have bacon rolls for breakfast 😋 I can’t wait!

Sitranced · 24/12/2018 16:11

Usually salmon and eggs but we had that this morning so it could be fruit toast and jam or bacon sandwiches depending on how we feel by morning.

CMOTDibbler · 24/12/2018 16:12

Trifle

Fatasfook · 24/12/2018 16:12

French toast with smoked bacon and maple syrup. Buck’s Fizz. Coffee

bananamonkey · 24/12/2018 16:13

Eggs Royale and Buck’s Fizz (M&S clementine and cranberry)

MrsStrowman · 24/12/2018 16:14

Usually poached or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, but gestational diabetes has put me off eggs for breakfast for a while... Also no champagne/mimosas this year, I'm driving and breast feeding, so American style pancakes with bacon and a pot of tea

papayya · 24/12/2018 16:14

Buck's Fizz and smoked salmon cream cheese bagels

Eliza9917 · 24/12/2018 16:15

@thesheepofwallstreet brunch?!?! How many meals do you fit in to Christmas day?

OP posts:
SixButterflies · 24/12/2018 16:15

My family aways had pork pie, thick ham, boiled eggs. Don't know why! Maybe a tradition from Up North. (We hail from Yorkshire.)

Hoopaloop · 24/12/2018 16:16

Bottle of Malbec and boiled eggs.

TheSheepofWallSt · 24/12/2018 16:17

@eliza9917

Grin we have Christmas dinner around 5-6 and just a roast and pudding- no starter.

But I aim for 4 meals - first breakfast, brunch, dinner and late supper of dinner leftovers Grin

whyayepetal · 24/12/2018 16:17

AAAGH - I knew I'd forgotten something when I went shopping. 'Twas the festive breakfast croissants. Ah well, toast for us this year then... Xmas Smile

Doggydoggydoggy · 24/12/2018 16:18

Bagels, Brie, bacon, cranberry sauce
😋
