I would have bucks fizz followed by Pina coladas but we have to drive and visit.

So, we are having m&s blini's, soft whipped cheese, smoked salmon, caviar and prawns.

What's on your menu?

OP posts:
IcaMorgan · 24/12/2018 16:19

Egg and bacon sandwiches

rabbitfoodadvocate · 24/12/2018 16:20

Hash browns and coffee. Followed by a big dog walk to make room for lunch!

Pontingss · 24/12/2018 16:20

This year we’re having bagels with crispy streaky bacon for the meat eaters and smoked salmon for the pescatarians. And baileys coffee.

Athena51 · 24/12/2018 16:21

I will be having slices of ham on toast with a bit of mustard. Mum and Dad used to cook the gammon on Christmas Eve and we always had this for breakfast on Christmas morning.

I've lost both of my parents now but this tradition continues, it's one of my favourite Christmas things Xmas Smile

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 24/12/2018 16:21

Smoked salmon and soft cheese bagels or bacon baguettes

ChangoMutney · 24/12/2018 16:22

Normally bacon butties or croissants, but this year the kids have asked for pancakes.

username5555 · 24/12/2018 16:23

I'm saving myself for lunch also a

username5555 · 24/12/2018 16:24

Posted too soon so just Christmas tree crumpets for us Xmas Smile

hammeringinmyhead · 24/12/2018 16:24

Normally croissants but 4 supermarkets had sold out so a stack of fluffy maple syrup pancakes and bucks fizz.

dontneedthedrama · 24/12/2018 16:26

I let the family choose breakfast on Christmas Day .
Dh wants full English
Dc want Christmas tree crumpets
I'm thinking bacon or scrambled egg on toast with Buck's Fizz and proper coffee .

MyMagicStars · 24/12/2018 16:27

Cinnamon muffins with cranberries- I started making these as tradition before the other seven children came along and am sick of them now!

themagicamulet · 24/12/2018 16:27

Danish apple kuchen and coffee. I have to make the (yeasted) dough last thing on Xmas Eve before midnight mass and then get up early to do the rest and bake it. Quite a faff but I've been doing it for 15 years and there would be protests if I changed it.

CloserIAm2Fine · 24/12/2018 16:27

Last couple of years I’ve had home made bread rolls with bacon

This year I’ve got Christmas tree crumpets to have with bacon and eggs (either poached or scrambled I’m not sure yet)

Grilledaubergines · 24/12/2018 16:28

Nothing other than a coffee. We’d never manage Christmas dinner if we did!

madeyemoodysmum · 24/12/2018 16:29

Buck’s Fizz and choc

ALongHardWinter · 24/12/2018 16:29

Nothing. I don't want to spoil my appetite for the dinner!

nokidshere · 24/12/2018 16:30

I've got teens, we will be lucky if they are up,for lunch Grin

Nannewnannew · 24/12/2018 16:31

Weetabix! 🙄

delilahbucket · 24/12/2018 16:32

Bacon and mushroom sandwiches and mimosas. Ds will have orange and lemonade in a champagne flute. Always the same every year.

Dotty1970 · 24/12/2018 16:32

Whatever chocolate there is

Awrite · 24/12/2018 16:33

Bacon and egg or square sausage rolls. Dh will probably have both.

Buunylover · 24/12/2018 16:33

This year it is christmas tree crumpets, crispy bacon, halloumi and coffee, mmmmmmmmmm cannot wait.

mary81 · 24/12/2018 16:34

Croissants and mango, as per every special breakfast (4yo DD loves this tradition now and requests it!). Lots of coffee.

Lwmommy · 24/12/2018 16:34

Crumpets with lashings of butter and bacon.

Lots and lots of coffee to.cope with the inevitably early start.

LaPampa · 24/12/2018 16:34

Coffee. Then Chocolate pannettone and champagne. And probably smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
