Well many media outlets are reporting exoert lip speakers and readers are aligned he said stupid woman and it makes sense contextually. As it also looks like that to me, then I'm going to believe what the experts say.

Im not sure why anyone is surprised by it. It's common knowledge he's a git and he wouldn't be the first mysogynistic 70 year old bloke to grace the planet.

What's bizarre about calling posters out as raging hypocrites? Do you not think you should uphold the standards to which you hold others? Or are your 'values' subordinate to another agenda? It's not about Corbyn really, is it, it's about maintaining the status quo that's serving your interests very well.

I think the term 'bots' was used as one implication of your posts seemed to be that those who criticise Corbyn are not demonstrating independent thought, i.e. they are merely regurgitating the Tory party line.

Perhaps that wasn't what you intended. It would certainly disregard the many posters who state that they are resolutely Left/Labour, but have no faith in Corbyn as party leader.

Homelessness, poverty, suicides as a DIRECT result, other illness & death as a direct result of austerity policies, brexit COMPLETE fuck up, WAY WORSE lies repeatedly told by her and her govt AND those acting on their behalf (I'm thinking particularly of benefits "assessors"), election fraud, persecution of campaigners, deliberate underfunding of nhs, police & armed forces...

Over JC in a moment of understandable frustration calling her (maybe) a stupid woman... Which she is! In fact I can think of far worse to call her!

Yea, I'm with those thinking if you let the tories use this to put you against labour - along with all the other BS they're feeding you, inc about labour & about JC, then you need to reassess your priorities imo.

You can make any criticisms you like, obviously, but be aware that labelling people you don't like or who disagree with you as gits, cretins, cultists, blind, hilarious, etc, undermines your high-minded calls for civility in public discourse.

The Momentum Massive can say he said “stupid people” until they’re blue in the face but it won’t make it correct. It’s obvious that he said “stupid woman” as he was reaponding directly to a savaging from Theresa May.

All these people saying "the lying is worse" - he clearly doesn't think he said it, and there is enough ambiguity that, surely, it should be innocent until proven guilty. Which this is not, because it's so obvious that "experts" as well as the general public can't reach a consensus. Or are we doing trial by social media?

This is all just more shit from the press to stir up controversy and sell more papers... And undermine the opposition as a delightful bonus.

There does seem to be a lot of polarised assumptions attached to all Corbyn discussions, namely that to not be a Corbyn supporter automatically makes you a heartless Tory.

It is possible to be a non-Tory, non-Corbynite. It is possible to think that TM has considerable limitations as a party leader and to think that JC also has considerable limitations as a party leader. It is possible to think that neither the Conservatives nor Labour are a pro-woman party, and that both are riddled with misogyny. It is possible not to want to vote for either party as neither represents your interests.

Yet many posters can't or won't recognise this. You're with us, or your against us, no nuance allowed.

I have two lip reading people in my life - both deaf/hard of hearing, and they confirm it's STUPID WOMAN that he is saying.

You really have terribly bad eyesight if you think he is saying PEOPLE.
