When it's obvious that what he actually said was "stupid woman".

OP posts:
Kool4katz · 19/12/2018 19:17

He should have said "stupid fucking woman" because she is.

Cameron is a stupid fucking man.

HTH?

Jsmith99 · 19/12/2018 19:17

Corbyn probably did call May a ‘stupid woman’ but so what?

If she had called him a ‘stupid man’ nobody would have made a fuss about it. Because it’s the other way round, the professionally offended brigade start wetting themselves. Ridiculous.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 19/12/2018 19:20

I cannot believe that people are paying more attention to this than the actual crises facing us at this moment in time.

I mean I can care about more than one thing at a time funnily enough.

It distracts from the fact a 'rising star' Labour MP has been convicted in the Old Bailey today, I guess.

Oakenbeach · 19/12/2018 19:21

So what if a Corbyn called her a ‘stupid woman’. If the PM called him a ‘stupid man’ would she be a misandrist?

So basically if I believe any woman is stupid, I am a misogynist. How ridiculous...

MeredithGrey1 · 19/12/2018 19:22

I don’t know what he said, but if he said it then yes it’s annoying to deny it.

Equally annoying is the faux outrage from the Tory party, acting as if any of them actually think that “stupid woman” is the height of offensiveness.

(And it would be the same the other way round, if a male Tory was accused of calling Emily Thornberry a stupid woman, they would deny it, and Labour MPs would all show a similar amount of fake anger, it’s so tedious of all of them)

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 19/12/2018 19:23

Because it’s a insult

It’s deemening it isn’t as deemening to say stupid man

What he could and should have said is your policies are stupid

easyandy101 · 19/12/2018 19:23

OP yabu, on the presumption that MPs don't all lie

regarding what was said, I can't lip read and I also don't know the political viewpoints of those people who are saying they can. His obsessive detractors would say anything to score a hit on him and his obsessive fans would deny or ignore all sorts of shit about him. My girlfriend is pretty good at it though so when she gets home I'll ask her and probably go with her opinion Grin

Bluntness100 · 19/12/2018 19:24

He clearly said stupid woman and I'm not even one of the expert lip readers who have confirmed it either.

And yeah, he should have had the balls to admit it, not like like a scared kid.

ThatssomebadhatHarry · 19/12/2018 19:26

Seen it slowed down and it looks like people. Very clear.

It’s a shame this is the top story and just goes to show how they are distracting us with the issues.

People falling for it is the saddest thing of all.

Shame on this country.

Shazafied · 19/12/2018 19:28

She is a stupid women. Women can be stupid. Men can be stupid.

theWarOnPeace · 19/12/2018 19:29

I wish I could get in front of her, I would have no hesitation in caling her a stupid woman.

underneaththeash · 19/12/2018 19:29

He's just awful though isn't he anyway without the comments.

Well-meaning almost communists maybe do have a place in the back benches to counter-act the overly right-wingers. But he'd just be a massive embarrassment as well as financial disaster for the country. Although I would like him to meet Donald Trump.

WinterfellWench · 19/12/2018 19:29

Beggars belief that anyone still supports this numpty.

He is a joke.

There aren't enough hours in a day to list the things that are wrong with Jeremy Corbyn.

It will be Tory rule as long as he is Labour leader.

And yeah, he DEFINITELY said 'stupid woman!'

Comes as no surprise that he lied about saying it though. Him denying it speaks volumes about him. You cannot trust him an inch.

jemihap · 19/12/2018 19:31

Definitely looked like ''people'' to me and I'm no fan of Corbyn, or just about any politician for that matter.

WinterfellWench · 19/12/2018 19:31

I can just imagine the outrage from the lefties on here if Theresa May or Boris Johnson had said something about a labour politician ... Would be a totally different response then. Typical disingenuous bollocks that I have come to expect from some posters here.

rightreckoner · 19/12/2018 19:32

He obviously said ‘stupid woman’. Which is not great but not a huge deal. He then lies about it and tells us we cannot believe the evidence of our own eyes. He might as well have said ‘stupid voters’ since that’s what his behaviour suggests he thinks.

Postino · 19/12/2018 19:33

Those who think this is no different from saying 'stupid man' seem to have missed the last 2,000 years of human history (or more).

Whether he said it or not - and I honestly can't tell but I'm not a lip reading expert - I'm really glad there's been outrage that he might have said it.

It warms my feminist cockles

CherrySherbert · 19/12/2018 19:33

Seen it slowed down and it looks like people. Very clear.
Yeah, just looked at this. It was 'people'.

Heap of fuss over nothing.

WinterfellWench · 19/12/2018 19:33

@jemihap are you kidding?

It was SO obvious he said 'stupid woman!'

SheCameFromGreeceSheHadaThirst · 19/12/2018 19:34

It’s a shame this is the top story and just goes to show how they are distracting us with the issues.

I'm not 'distracted' at all. I think Brexit is a shambolic shitshow and has been/is being handled diabolically.

I haven't forgotten about that at all simply because Corbyn has publicly demonstrated himself to be the sneery twunt I've always suspected him to be.

WinterfellWench · 19/12/2018 19:37

PMSL at the people in denial here.

As I said, it would be quite different if it was a TORY politician saying it. The knives would be out!

First couple of seconds on this clip.

www.theguardian.com/politics/live/2018/dec/19/brexit-latest-pmqs-migration-white-paper-sajid-javid-tories-have-effectively-abandoned-target-to-get-net-migration-below-100000-javid-concedes-politics-live

OBVIOUS he is saying 'stupid woman.'

Just admit it LOL. It's making people look so daft when they're denying it!

As I said, I am not shocked at him lying about it. The man is a clown, a snake, and as shady as fuck.

TheWernethWife · 19/12/2018 19:38

Looked like stupid people to me as well. The Tories are well know for throwing nasty comments to women i.e. Yvette Cooper for example. People in glass houses and all that.

brizzledrizzle · 19/12/2018 19:39

Expecting politicians not to lie is like expecting the Pope to encourage atheism - it's never going to happen.

I agree that they shouldn't lie though.

pointythings · 19/12/2018 19:40

In a world where we are heading towards the cliff edge of No-Deal Brexit this is what people are worried about? Really? Fucking really???? Hmm

CherrySherbert · 19/12/2018 19:41

I think anyone saying it is 'obvious' one way or another, based on the real time footage, is being a stupid person.

If lip reading experts can't agree either way, then it clearly isn't obvious.

That said, based on the slowed down versions, its 'people'.
