Mine was Mr Frosty. Far too messy! My mum bought it for my 21st birthday as I'd gone on about it so much Smile

I did get the dog and the pony though, so wasn't too hard done by.

NotScrewingUpNow · 15/12/2018 17:49

Sylvian family.
The whole collection.

MrsMisstery · 15/12/2018 17:55

Mr Frosty
Penguin racer
Dog that flips over
Polly pocket
Spirograph
Sylvanian families - I didn’t have a single thing from it
I never had real toys.
All my friends rich, poor and in between had way more toys than me.

Coloursthatweremyjoy · 15/12/2018 17:57

Mine was a woodworking kit. I knew my parents wouldn't approve (gender stereotype..a whole other thread). I totally believed in Father Christmas so I wrote him a letter and put it in my desk. I'd seen Santa Claus the Movie and I knew how it worked.

Needless to say the letter stayed where it was and I never got a woodworking kit. Xmas Sad I stopped believing that year.

RaspberryRipple1963 · 15/12/2018 18:05

A pony. Grin

GandalfsRing · 15/12/2018 18:22

A stop me and buy one. Similar to mr frosty but it made ice cream.

Dream phone board game.

@chunkyjumper I think the doll you’re after is a dolly surprise. We had a little independent toy shop near us which sold them and I had 4 or 5 of them

BifsWif · 15/12/2018 18:23

Another Mr Frosty.

I bring it up every year, and even bought my son one so I could play with it. T’was rubbish.

DrMidgeryMargery · 15/12/2018 18:39

Lol I really can’t believe how many people were disappointed re Mr Frosty! I was too. Then my school friends bought me one for my 18th and it was shit.

I also remember the easy bake oven advert with the beans and sausage roll! One of my friends had one and I wasn’t impressed.

I wanted the snail Keeper, which was purple with a lovely shell that locked. Didn’t get it. That’s the only thing I can remember.

crispysausagerolls · 15/12/2018 18:40

This year I would like the answer to the Boswell riddle but I think I’ll be disappointed 😢

Therunecaster · 15/12/2018 18:42

Another one for a Mr Frosty. Also a weeble tree house and a major morgon...oh how I envied my friend who got all 3.

mrsed1987 · 15/12/2018 18:42

Mine was aĺso mr frosty!

lily2403 · 15/12/2018 18:47

Operation

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 15/12/2018 18:58

I remember wanting one of those tree house things (pictured in PP) but my mum's argument against was there was one in the waiting room of our doctors surgery so I could just play with that one (we were at the doctors a lot tbf).

I got a 2nd hand big yellow teapot with none of the furniture/people but the fisher price people worked just as well (I still have them too!)

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 15/12/2018 18:59

@lily2403 We got Operation. My sisters are both doctors. Nice work, Mother.

MrsGrindah · 15/12/2018 19:00

Mousetrap game! My parents were so so generous but for some reason refused this one.... it was plastic crap apparently. Bet it’s even more plasticy now

beardeddragon174 · 15/12/2018 19:00

Those Clarks shoes with the light up heels and the key in the sole. Ahhh. Still want them.

Fatted · 15/12/2018 19:02

The my little pony castle and Barbies house. I never got either.

My brother got Castle Grey skull and Snake mountain from He Man. And the Ghostbusters firestation.

I'm not bitter at all.

itsstillgood · 15/12/2018 19:04

I read the title and was desperately trying to think of the name of the snowman drinks maker think - Mr Frosty it was Grin

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 15/12/2018 19:04

@beardeddragon174 my sister and I were talking about those shoes the other day!

ScreamingValenta · 15/12/2018 19:06

My sister and I asked for 'Ker-Plunk' one year. It was vetoed because my grandma's neighbour's daughter had apparently said it was rubbish.

Soubriquet · 15/12/2018 19:11

A train set

One with a controller and everything

But no. It’s for boys Angry

KipperTheFrog · 15/12/2018 19:16

A horse. I asked for one every year and never got it. It's still a running joke in my family.

KipperTheFrog · 15/12/2018 19:17

DD1 is continuing the tradition, only she's added a unicorn to the list.

user1andonly · 15/12/2018 19:18

Another member of the never got a Mr Frosty club signing in!

Also: Ice skating Sindy and a bubble gum blowing doll (should have known that was a lost cause as mum HATED bubble gum!)

TokyoSushi · 15/12/2018 19:18

Mr Frosry, a la Carte kitchen and the big yellow teapot, I assume Mr Frosty was too messy and the others too expensive!
