Mine was Mr Frosty. Far too messy! My mum bought it for my 21st birthday as I'd gone on about it so much Smile

Mr frosty
A proper dolls house- I made my own out of old cardboard boxes and stuff but it wasn’t the same
Lots of sylvanian families things
A doll that shat itself I forget which one

apostropheuse · 15/12/2018 22:48

Stardustmemories Life Size Barbies did indeed exist - one of my daughters asked for one when she was about maybe 4. It came in a bridal outfit, and was the size of a 3/4 year old. The advertising campaign made a big thing out of how you could swap clothes with it! It cost £90 - that was in about 1993 or so.

My daughter duly opened the parcel, stripped it and put the clothes on herself on Christmas morning. She did love that doll, to be fair. It didn't seem to be on the market for very long though.

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 15/12/2018 22:55

Mine was mr frosty too! I almost bought dd one recently, despite her never showing even a passing interest in one. I was halfway to the till before I realised it was my inner 8 year old that wanted it, not dd! Blush

WistfulBarnacles · 15/12/2018 23:48

Yes @chunkyjumper - that was it!!! Ahhh the memories of disappointment Grin

ScreamingValenta · 15/12/2018 23:57

one of those Cadbury's chocolate dispensers.

We had one of those! We only ever had the cochlea it came with, so we used to put the 2ps in to dispense the chocolate; take the 2ps out and put the chocolate back in, ad-infinitum.

ScreamingValenta · 15/12/2018 23:58

! Autocorrect Angry. Chocolate, not cochlea, obviously.

Potteringon80 · 16/12/2018 00:03

A girls world and a Cadbury chocolate dispenser.
I actually cut out pictures of the chocolate dispenser from whatever catalogue my mum had.
Brilliant thread.

Mr Frosty, and also that Play Doh hairdressers set Envy

user1andonly · 16/12/2018 00:19

That Mr Frosty review was brilliant Grin

PocketsForMe · 16/12/2018 00:43

Girls world! My mum still argues I had one, I know I didn’t
Like pp’s Got one for my 21st Smile

Linnet · 16/12/2018 00:53

Mr Frosty 🤣

elaine26 · 16/12/2018 01:08

Mr frosty here too and I always wanted a post office too always looked like so much fun

Bouncingbelle · 16/12/2018 04:43

A girls world (eventually got one as a joke aged about 37!) And the cadburys chocolate dispenser thing.

Bouncingbelle · 16/12/2018 04:47

And a snooker table! Was desperste for one for years (no idea where i thought we would put it!)

Did get a Mr Frosty tho :)

Pinkprincess1978 · 16/12/2018 08:50

I did get mine eventually but by the time I did I was a bit too old for it (probably 12/13) and it was second hand so didn't have all the right bits - it was a fashion wheel. I had been blowing and making wishes on dandelions since I was 6 wanting one.

Chocolatecake12 · 16/12/2018 08:52

A cabbage patch doll. My mum thought they were too ugly.

BishopBrennansArse · 16/12/2018 08:54

Big yellow teapot.
I still want one 😂

PumpkinKitty82 · 16/12/2018 09:08

Another for mr frosty , also wanted one of those yellow and red tiny coupe car things as loved riding round in those at the ELC

Flobalob · 16/12/2018 09:14

Mr Frosty. Never got one.

However, now when I look at the cost for something that would only be used a few times before the flavours run out, I can see why. Plus everyone on here says that it was massively disappointing.

MerryBear · 16/12/2018 09:18

Little brother/sister.

I got a couple of baby dolls.

frogface69 · 16/12/2018 09:34

A plasticraft set. Everyone had one except me. Not really, but that's what I thought.

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 16/12/2018 09:35

Oh I had the Petite Post Office AND the regular office. I loved them both SOOO much! Funny how a child can turn answering the phone and doing admin so much fun.

Doesn't translate to my adult life sadly.

RedPandaMama · 16/12/2018 09:38

From being 12 to about 16 I always wanted a Coca Cola mini fridge and an inflatable armchair for my bedroom. Never got them!

HannahnotAgnes · 16/12/2018 09:46

I'm another who wanted a Mr Frosty & an a last Carte kitchen but didn't get either Grin

HannahnotAgnes · 16/12/2018 09:47

I like the idea of those now @RedPandaMama
