Ds is a journo in London. The stuff he tells me about the gutter press is hilarious.

The people who write for the Mail are left wing, but Dacre (who has gone now) used to stalk them all the time making sure they wrote his crap.

The Express is full of bored Millennials who try to make up the most outrageous headlines for the fun of it. As they hate its policies.

Don’t k ow how true it is, but it kind of puts their shit a bit into perspective.

He had an interview at the Mail, but swore he would ever work there

PortiaCastis · 09/12/2018 21:08

Oh FFS why do people believe the shite spouted in the gutter press , Venezuela my arse seconded

Ljlsmum · 09/12/2018 21:09

I’d much rather have him in than any Tory. Bastard. I am sick to the back teeth of what they are doing. May and her husband ripping the country off but for some reason nobody seems to care about that when they can go on about Corbyn’s dress sense or anti Semitic bollocks.

If everyone paid their taxes we wouldn’t be in the mess we are now.

PeroniZucchini · 09/12/2018 21:10

TheEmoji I can well imagine that the shit written in the Fail and the Express is made up by a bunch of piss-takers however what’s worrying is that there are swathes of ignoramuses that believe in that shit.

bellinisurge · 09/12/2018 21:11

Christ, I hope not.

fikel · 09/12/2018 21:11

A man with principle- bring it on

malificent7 · 09/12/2018 21:13

anything but the Tories is an improvement...they couldnt organise a Chrisrmas Party in Lapland.

longwayoff · 09/12/2018 21:21

Ah, just what we need, more hate and division stirred up by eye rolling, fact ignoring, hate thriving misanthropes. Seasons greetings

Jorgezaunders · 09/12/2018 21:22

I don't see how he could be any worse than the Tories who have, with their ridiculous in-fighting, single-handedly made us look like incompetent wankers on the global stage. If there's a GE I'll vote labour, we might at least get funding for schools and public services out of it.

countrybunny · 09/12/2018 21:23

'Bad news for property owners and high earners' oh poor then, us homeless people on the poverty line are fine as long as you lot are ok?

HollySwift · 09/12/2018 21:24

He literally could not be worse than the shower of murderous shit we’ve had for the past decade!

Hermanhessescat · 09/12/2018 21:29

Rather be living in Venezuela than Nazi Germany run by the likes of farage and Tommy Robinson

animaginativeusername · 09/12/2018 21:29

Actually I'm very happy for this outcome, would be a good change from nasty Tory and useless Blair/milliband labour

Calvinsmam · 09/12/2018 21:30

Rather be living in Venezuela than Nazi Germany run by the likes of farage and Tommy Robinson

Are those are only two options?

As a trade unionist and a former labour member.
Please please NO

Maursh · 09/12/2018 21:32

If JC was voted in overnight the pound would sink and wealthy people (you know the top 1% who pay 28% of all tax receipts) would leave in droves. They wouldn't wait around to see what happened.

The City is more terrified of a labour government than they are of hard Brexit.

londonrach · 09/12/2018 21:34

Seriously. Not a fan of may etc but that anti uk guy...im vvv scared!

tillytrotter1 · 09/12/2018 21:35

God help us if the Trots get in and I've an awful feeling it might happen, some of us are old enough to remember the dreadful 60s. Those who lambast the current lot have really got no idea of the consequences of an ultra-left government. Do you really believe that JC would be in charge? He'd be the first socialist PM to so be.

If the Brexit fiasco has done one positive thing it should be that single issues will never again be put to the popular vote in a referendum. Were we asked to vote on capital punishment I think the supporters would win.

EngTech · 09/12/2018 21:35

Perhaps JC getting the keys to No. 10 would be a good thing?

If the U.K. imploded, it would be on JC’s watch and they would be out of power for a generation.

TM got handed the poisened chalice by DC - We live in interesting times as the Chinese would say 😬

bigKiteFlying · 09/12/2018 21:38

I don't think much to this Government at all - but I think Labour who I've previously voted for many times is unelectable with Corbyn at the helm.

TeddyIsaHe · 09/12/2018 21:38

Maursh that is such twaddle! So you’re saying the ENTIRE population of the top 1% are going to leave the UK and pay no more tax because of JC becoming prime minister. Really? I would love to see some source for your wild outlandish claims. Really I would.

didireallysaythat · 09/12/2018 21:39

Corbyn (and the Labour party) have had an open goal for months - we're on our third Brexit secretary and Labour still haven't spelt out what they would do.

Don't get my wrong, the Tories are sucklng the country dry, but the opposition doesn't speak with one clear voice.

Augusta2012 · 09/12/2018 21:40

This terrifies me. My family are in relatively low paid private sector jobs and we live in a private rental. We are the sort of people who will be first to go to the wall.
