wtf ? why on earth would anyone with half a brain cell think that is a good thing ? if labour do succeed then hopefully he'd get ousted for someone else instead. the current government have left me very disillusioned but corbyn...really ??
what are your thoughts ?

I'd like labour back in. But not that wet blanket Corbyn.

Bombardier25966 · 09/12/2018 18:37

Currently coordinating an event to get donations of essentials to people with nothing this Christmas. For the first year ever demand {nominations are made by charities and advice agencies) has been so high we've had to stop accepting nominations.

I can't wait until the day Corbyn is in power and this country learns about humanity once again. And it won't be long!

paintinmyhairAgain · 09/12/2018 18:40

corbyn and humanity with anti semitism and terrorists links are you and i talking about the same corbyn ?

paintinmy who provides the funding for flu vaccination research?

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 09/12/2018 18:41

Social justice and humanity is what this exhausted country is desperate for.💪🏻

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 09/12/2018 18:41

Terrorist links😂😂😂😂

Ohmno · 09/12/2018 18:42

Jc man good

paintinmyhairAgain · 09/12/2018 18:43

teddy scientists do the research for flu vaccination not politicians which in turn is paid through our taxes. last year the scientists got it wrong and many people died as a result. shitty but it happened.

emoji the IRA, among others, perhaps you've not heard of them ?

Jeremy the Unready for PM? God forbid 😳
Quite frankly I don't have the foggiest as to who out of the whole shambolic, self-aggrandising shower from any party is anywhere near leading this country

TeddyIsaHe · 09/12/2018 18:46

paintinmy and now you see the direct results of government cuts! Like I said - their policies are killing people.

ThatssomebadhatHarry · 09/12/2018 18:48

Another day another Corbyn bashing on Mumsnet.

SleepingBooty · 09/12/2018 18:49

There's no way he'll be PM and I don't think Labour want to be in charge at the moment, knowing it's a poisoned chalice.

Mishappening · 09/12/2018 18:49

PortiaCastis - exactly. This government have bled the poor dry, wrecked public services (do they know what the word service means I wonder?), messed around with the education system till we have high rates of mental health problems in children - and all the rest of the misery they have created.

Why would anyone want them to continue in power (well well power is hardly the word, since they cling on by the skin of their teeth by bribing a bunch of bigots to vote with them)?

I would be happy to see a Labour government - and don't panic about JC; I doubt he would be leader long if they came to power. At least Labour have some commitment to the well-being of people other than city bankers, international financiers etc. This is one of the reasons why people voted for Brexit - they were sick to death of being ignored, devalued and trodden down - it was as much a vote of protest for the Tory's arrogance as for leaving the EU.

Bring it on I say.

ThatssomebadhatHarry · 09/12/2018 18:51

Still banging on about the IRA. Tory propaganda. Why don’t you throw a strong and stable in just for good measure.

TeddyIsaHe · 09/12/2018 18:51

Of course Labour want to be in power, that’s why they’re not backing the 2nd ref - they want a general election whilst the tories are in-fighting and proving how utterly useless they are re Brexit.

recently · 09/12/2018 18:51

Almost anybody has to be better than TM!

Surfskatefamily · 09/12/2018 18:52

No labour need a new leader if they want back in no10

TeddyIsaHe · 09/12/2018 18:53

Labour aren’t going to have a leader contest where in a weeks time there is a high possibility of a vote of no confidence in TM leading to a GE.

The polls are favourable, but after the Brexit exit poll I don’t think I’ll trust them ever again!

zippey · 09/12/2018 18:54

He will be better than Theresa May, so yes I’m hoping for a change

Alfie190 · 09/12/2018 18:56

This entire thread reads as if it’s been posted by a bot and answered by sock puppets

it doesn't

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 09/12/2018 18:56

Thatsomebadharry👍🏻

But if it’s in the Mail or the Express, then it MUST be true!

Another thing Corbyn would do is deal with the disgusting vitriolic hate filled right wing press.

MeredithGrey1 · 09/12/2018 18:57

I agree with SleepingBooty, they have to say they want to be in charge because as opposition they can’t say “no thanks, we don’t want to go anywhere near this shit show” but I bet it’s what they’re thinking. From the looks of it, whatever happens with brexit (labour or Tory) the majority will be unhappy and no one wants to be in charge when that happens.

DownAndUnder · 09/12/2018 18:59

I’d be a lot less scared than I am under this government.

BishBoshBashBop · 09/12/2018 19:04

Well apart from the fact it doesn't work like that.

She won't lose a NC vote. Even the likes of JRM have said they wouldn't vote to bring down the government.

No way DUP wiuld want Corbyn there either
