He took DS out Christmas shopping today and after a lot of badgering on my part told me he'd got me seven things in total for Christmas.

Aside an xbox game I've got him I don't know what to get, I wasn't expecting him to get me so much.

Brian Cox tickets and a CD that he wants. No idea what else to get him!

NightOwlHoney · 09/12/2018 16:28

Mine is getting a second wind of his midlife crisis and wants an electric guitar. I'm embarrassed for him.

LittleLlamaontheduskyroad · 09/12/2018 16:36

New travel mug
Skydiving
Daddy Pig socks (tradition, even though the DC are too old for Peppa Pig now)

Metaplasia · 09/12/2018 16:54

A canvas picture of the (ridiculously remote, tiny Scottish island) village he grew up in. It took a lot of heavy googling but I managed to find one of the house he lived in! And a bottle of nice port.

pisspawpatrol · 09/12/2018 16:55

A card game called Exploding Kittens
A t-shirt with a joke on it
Two Vinyl records
The latest star wars film on blu ray

Pyjamas, slippers, coffee, wallet and tickets for the Hans Zimmer tour in March (he bloody loves his scores).

Lucywithout · 09/12/2018 17:34

A sack truck - last year he had a wheel barrow. That is what he asked for.

FourFuxxakes · 09/12/2018 17:46

AdoraBell
Four when we are short of funds I tell my DC I only want chocolate or coffee. Is there something cheap ish like that he and you would like?
We're "asking Santa" for a box of chocolates like we got last year - a whole kilogram of celebrations chocolates from Amazon. That's more of a family gift though rather than just for dh, especially as he's paying for it with the voucher that he won Grin

Ifangyow · 09/12/2018 17:51

A season ticket for his football team.
A couple of new Fred Perry tops.
Alcohol.
New kindle.

gemdrop84 · 09/12/2018 17:55

We went to a festival over the summer so I have printed some photos from that and made a collage (am attempting to be sentimental). I've also got him three books plus bookmark, including Slash' autobiography, who he's going to see next year, a nice shirt, socks and a star wars millenium falcon tray to go on his bedside table to empty crap from his pockets in. That's it at the moment. Dd has bought him scrabble plus a hat, gloves and scarf set.

LeviOsaNotLeviosAR · 09/12/2018 18:39

@WeBuiltThisBuffettOnSausageRoll ... It is indeed a thing. Although I may threaten him that I will bribe the operators to keep the lid shut if he pisses me off 🤔😂
Yeah he read about it and mentioned it a few months ago so he won't think I have remembered about it. Finally might be able to surprise him at last! He guesses every present every year!

harriethoyle · 09/12/2018 18:48

A cashmere jumper, an Aspinal diary, a print for his bedroom wall, a couple of books and a mug.

Pasithea · 09/12/2018 18:48

He got a load of fishing gear earlier in year so small pressys. Slippers beer etc

LaPufalina · 09/12/2018 19:23

Just doing a stocking this year with little gifts.
I've got him
• running socks
• cufflinks in the shape of a protractor
• pi-shaped cookie cutter (maths geek!)
• a few craft IPA cans
• a chocolate Santa from hotel chocolat
He's really easy to buy for as he doesn't spend much on himself but has a lot of interests and looks good in almost any clothing (tall and lean but broad shoulders)
I've gone a bit all-out for his 30th in January though Blush

Nothing. Money is tight so it gets spent on the children.

PickAChew · 09/12/2018 19:53

So far, diddly squat.

ohtheholidays · 09/12/2018 19:53

webuilt No I'm treating him because he never treats himself he's always treating me and our 5DC because he enjoys buying things more for other people than he does himself, just like I prefer to buy for him and our 5DC rather than buy for myself!

He does also treat me to clothes and other bits that he knows I love, not every man is a chauvinistic pig!

My DH has taken a seious career break because I became seriously ill within 2 years of us getting together and he's now my carer.

maelstrop Thankyou,he's getting lots of non pratical stuff as well and all of the clothes I've bought him are designer labels, which he used to love and buy but won't now we have 5DC(and he's not the biological father of our 4 oldest DC but to him he is they're Dad and to them all he is Dad)he's a really decent guy and so I like to spoil him,he spoils me all of the time Grin

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 09/12/2018 19:54
