He took DS out Christmas shopping today and after a lot of badgering on my part told me he'd got me seven things in total for Christmas.

Aside an xbox game I've got him I don't know what to get, I wasn't expecting him to get me so much.

a box of after eights.
A wok.
A crate of different ales
A personalised avengers tshirt with his name on it that I made myself.
I’m also getting him a white “posh” shirt that you need to wear cuff links with as he’s lamenting the loss of his old one.
I’m looking at a couple of different smaller bits to.
The kids have got him
A pair of slippers
A pack of socks
A Christmas tie
Two dvds

If he plays xbox games online then a new headset might be a good gift (obviously if he doesn't has one)

My DP has a headset but it's just a standard one so I'm buying him a new one that picks up on sounds standard ones don't, like people creeping up behind you and someone loading there gun etc so helps you win.

The guys in the game shop are very helpful if you tell them the games your DP tends to play they will advice on best headsets.

After nearly 50 christmasses we can't be bothered
Can't believe how much stress there used to be trying to find something he really wanted
He's asked for nothing and that's what he's getting. Same goes for me.

thismeansnothing · 09/12/2018 16:11

Me and DH just do stockings with a £20 limit for Xmas. So far I've got him a bottle of craft beer and a Bowie CD. He'll also get fudge, nougat, a pen, socks and pants.

His birthday is Xmas Eve. DD has got him some aftershave he loves and ran out of ages ago. I've got him 2 1:1 golf lessons at the driving range and a voucher for a bucket of balls so he can go again and have a play.
