He took DS out Christmas shopping today and after a lot of badgering on my part told me he'd got me seven things in total for Christmas.

Aside an xbox game I've got him I don't know what to get, I wasn't expecting him to get me so much.

I've bought my partner an apple watch. He's now snoring at the side of me and he hasn't taken it off tonight. It's tracking his sleep and is doing NOTHING but 'ding' and bleep

ashvivienne · 09/12/2018 02:43

An Apple Watch, new iPad with accessories and some AirPods. Picked up some clothes and bits through the year like skincare bits and will get him a bottle of whiskey

Stillamum3 · 09/12/2018 02:46

Thank you for introducing me to Erix Ravilious! I love him.

itsstillgood · 09/12/2018 04:48

A new wok and spices from a specialist store. He loves spicy food and while I do 95% of day to day cooking he does enjoy experimenting when he has time.
A book of piano music. He does play :)
Good pub guide and A book on Urban rambles.
A small stocking with hot sauces, a bag of spicy snacks, a quiz book, a cable he needs for something.

A chefs torch.

ShoeJunkie · 09/12/2018 07:27

Some Molton Brown smellies
A new case for his tablet
Some books he asked for.

It’s also his birthday just before Christmas and I’ve got him tickets for a comedy show.

SilverApples · 09/12/2018 07:33

He’s way more frugal and careful than me, so I buy him memberships to societies that he loves and an OAP railcard so he potters off to stuff that he otherwise might balk at. And a box of treats that he eeks out for months.
We are very opposite personalities!

Toptheginup · 09/12/2018 07:49

A hoody
Pair of jeans
Shirt
Chiroc vodka
Socks/boxers/pjs
Aftershave
Wash set
Still to get: a new record for his record player
Maybe trainers if I have any spare cash left over

Sunnysidegold · 09/12/2018 07:53

Aftershave
Whiskey stones
Fancy face scrub
A wabobo ball (it bounces on water and he will love it!)
Some sweets

was going to order the boot buddy but I forgot (it would really be a gift for be!)

Soosiesoo · 09/12/2018 07:56

Aftershave, jumper, shirt, Nivea Men set, socks, slippers & chocolate. I've also ordered him a framed word print from a local craft seller, which will be from our DDs

Just need to get a few stocking fillers then he's done! He's asked for types of screws and small tools Hmm

We've always liked getting each other a little pile/bag of presents for Christmas, we still get very excited. Even at 33 & 38 😆

Huntawaymama · 09/12/2018 08:04

Some electronic ear defending for when he's shooting, a book, a jumper and a everlasting match

MaryShelley1818 · 09/12/2018 08:11

A Lego Technic Car, retro car metal signs for his garage/man cave, retro metal petrol pump clock, Gryffindor t-shirt, red Casio G-Shock watch and a ‘Daddy & Son’ Willow Tree from DS.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 09/12/2018 08:12

DH and I tend to buy a few things for each other. This year it's a bag, concert tickets, a knife sharpener and a book. And I'll do a stocking for him - though no idea what will goin that yet this year apart from chocolate and a satsuma!

lilyheather1 · 09/12/2018 08:16

We bought another spaniel last week which is sort of our big present to each other (and our other dog! Smile) so I'll probably just get him something little and most likely star wars/ Jurassic park/ NASA themed.

EnglishRose13 · 09/12/2018 08:17

Two bars of chocolate. We don't usually bother.

SimplyPut · 09/12/2018 08:27

Leather boots, socks, pj's, jumper, aftershave, sweets, craft beer box, Lego ice cube tray, lunch box and a flask for soup.

Bluesheep8 · 09/12/2018 08:36

homeishere sorry to disappoint you but there is no discernable difference. We've decided not to get each other anything this year. We say it every year but this year I'm determined to stick to it....

Nanalisa60 · 09/12/2018 08:37

AndestryDNA kite I want to laugh my head off if he finds out he’s not a 100per cent Scottish!! And if it turns out he half English I will be laughing for weeks!!

guineapig1 · 09/12/2018 08:39

DH and I don’t usually bother with wrapped gifts as such. I find the run up to Christmas exhsusting without shopping for DH too! We’ll each buy ourselves something that we want at about this time of year - or more often in the new year instead and we try to go on two city breaks each year minus the kids so I choose one and he the other which is fun.

Bumbledop · 09/12/2018 08:48

A night away with dinner at a lovely hotel. I’ve sorted baby sitters. Im so excited!

This is really for me isn’t it?!? Confused
