He took DS out Christmas shopping today and after a lot of badgering on my part told me he'd got me seven things in total for Christmas.

Aside an xbox game I've got him I don't know what to get, I wasn't expecting him to get me so much.

I gave birth to his son on his birthday so that’s me done.

HappyGoLuckyGo · 09/12/2018 00:01

A naice wine decanter (the decanter is naice but hopefully the wine he puts in it will be naice too...!), noise cancelling headphones (currently half price from Bose!!!) and I’m going to get him a stovetop coffee maker as he wants one.

HappyGoLuckyGo · 09/12/2018 00:01

Okay thaegumathteth beats me....

LeviOsaNotLeviosAR · 09/12/2018 00:02

I've not many ideas for my DH this year. And I had to give up 2 of my ideas to my MIL and DM as they had no ideas either. (2 games for playstation)
So far I have got him a voucher to go to a sensory deprivation tank
A tshirt from qwertee that has deadpool and pikachu on it saying you sound familiar Grin
And a book that he knows about as it was delivered when he was home with an obvious company logo on it.

Other ideas are
Tank for ecig
Novelty dressing gown
Trainers
Tassimo machine

MaMaMaMySharona · 09/12/2018 00:03

Half a house. We complete on 19th December!

LuluJakey1 · 09/12/2018 00:04

Some Lindt whole nut chocolate - which we both love so I bought 2 bars.
3 books that I know he will like
A bottle of Pineau Charentes - we drink it on holiday in France and he likes it.
A shirt
A coat from Boden
A carton of blue mints - I found one under his pillow and thought he was taking viagra but it turned out to be a mint
Some dominoes - he likes to play and our old set has lost 2.

delboysskinandblister · 09/12/2018 00:12

@SaucyJack

That's my kinda cat! Xmas Grin.

Ours the neighbour's brought us a coat full of his own 'pets' and a 3am front door wallop on a part time basis.

ozymandiusking · 09/12/2018 00:13

Pjs, cardigan, track suit bottoms, 4 books, chocolate liqueurs Gin.
I think this thread is fascinating.

5foot5 · 09/12/2018 00:44

A Tommy Hilfiger rugby shirt
A novel from a series he is following
A board game based on the Apollo XIII mission
A lockpick training set
A traditional balsa wood model kit of a Tiger Moth
A boot buddy ( if it arrives in time)

SleightOfMind · 09/12/2018 00:46

I’m weirdly enjoying this thread too.
Can’t tell you what I’ve got DH. I’d habe to name change and his present is too boring to justify the effort Blush

jessstan2 · 09/12/2018 00:49

I bought a jacket online, very nice, when it arrived I knew it wouldn't suit or fit so it has gone back.

So far - underpants. No socks because I bought loads on his birthday and socks are coming out of my ears.

New shirt probably and the new Cliff Richard album (sad of course but husband has been a loyal friend since childhoos).

jessstan2 · 09/12/2018 00:49

Meant 'childhood', expect you all knew that.

RagingWhoreBag · 09/12/2018 00:58

Tickets for a comedian he likes, some retro themed gifts/mug etc, some new small aftershaves to try, a back massager, and I will probably pick up some chocolates or something. He doesn’t expect a lot, always tells me to stick to a budget (less than the one he has for me as he earns a lot more). I used to make him things but recently a bit overwhelmed so it’s all bought this year.

RagingWhoreBag · 09/12/2018 01:01

5foot5 the lock picking set is inspired! Ex H would love that. I’ll get it for him from the DCs.

RefuseTheLies · 09/12/2018 01:03

Voucher for Aston Martin driving experience
Multi-buy pack of fav brand, long sleeved tops
Wash bag for toiletries
Pork scratchings

I’ve asked him for an iPad mini

badlydrawncat · 09/12/2018 01:29

Nothing! We both put the money we would have spent on presents and add the money we would have spent on food and go away for Xmas week in an Airbnb. This year it's Granada in Spain.

Wingedharpy · 09/12/2018 01:36

Nothing.
He's got me and I've got him so that's enough for both of us.

Choccywoccyhooha · 09/12/2018 01:38

A hydroponics set. (He asked for it).
A game called Hive.
I may get him a Seasalt sailor top too if he is nice to me!

FleurNancy · 09/12/2018 01:47

Coffee beans, jar for storing coffee beans, bottle of fancy local rum, bottle of fancy local brandy plus he wants a new scarf.

HerRoyalNotness · 09/12/2018 01:52

A packable puffer jacket for our Xmas trip
A thin towel the sand doesn’t stick to in the delusional hope we’ll have a beach holiday this summer
A Retroviewer with a family photo reel

Much vested presents than he got me

HerRoyalNotness · 09/12/2018 01:53

better Sad

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 09/12/2018 02:09

So far I have got him a voucher to go to a sensory deprivation tank

Is that a thing?! And is it something he'd actually enjoy or is it a non-cryptic warning or payback? Grin

gluteustothemaximus · 09/12/2018 02:17

Nothing here. First year ever done that. Money is going on kids presents. We're happy.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 09/12/2018 02:20

An Eric Ravilious print, the 3ft long chorizo sausage from Lidl

Makes a change from city skylines, sunflowers or water lilies, I suppose Grin Grin Grin

Piebeansandchips · 09/12/2018 02:23

A sound bar for the tv. So he can pretend he's not actually a bit deaf for longer...🙄
