AIBU?

AIBU to wonder when woman started obsessing over their lady garden?

I had the misfortune of watching Naked Attraction and was shocked at the lack of pubes...and how people were berated for having a postage stamp sized amount. The men’s view also seemed to be strange where there was a definite trend for those looking like a plucked turkey.

I dabbled with a Brazilian when I was in my twenties but soon stopped when I realised it was a complete waste of time and money.

I now have a full bush and I love it. I really don’t see the appeal of shaving/waxing to have horrid regrowth and ingrown hairs or to look like a child.

AIBU to think we should all band together and let our lady gardens flourish to turn the tide on this degrading trend?

I like the feeling after being waxed in the summer but in the winter I just trim with an electric razor so I look nice for water aerobics

How can you not see the comparison with children?

Would you like to sleep with a completely hairless man?

My partner is bald, trims his body hair and yet I'm under no illusion that he's a baby.

I've been shaving, trimming and waxing since I was 18. I'm now 48 and continue to do so.

My public hair whilst not vast, thick and bushy actually grows very long on the labia Majora like the moustache of an ancient martial arts warrior. Grin

It used to matt with the blood from menstruation, and trap painfully in underwear.

Both my partner and I enjoy positively masses of oral pleasure, from my previous experience with hairier men it does work loose and become unpleasant in the mouth. Out of respect for each other we keep it trimmed.

When I feel like it, I get a wax, full off. The first time I heard of it as a common theme was actually on Sex and the City.

Partner enjoys the sensation, as do I. However he's under no illusion that I'm childlike due to the fact that a) he's incredibly turned on by the fact that I'm older than him b) my G cup norkers and stretch marks are usually in full view at the same time as my flange.

I agree with a PP these threads always end up in accusatory pattens of dirty full minge v porn driven child fanjo.

Your pubis your choice.

My views have changed over the years (I'm 62) In my 20's I shaved it all off on for a few months as I was looking for a new boyfriend and the anticipation of displaying something so novel when I found him was quite exciting. Then for years I had a full bush, before experimenting again with trimming shaving and tweezering out the odd stray hair remaining after that in my 40's, then back to the full bush and now, my first waxed brazillian, again on a whim. I'm really pleased with it, Couldn't wait to show DH who was tidying the understainrs cupboard when I got in - "very nice darling, now put it away" but the sex was amazing and I will certainly have it done again. When I get bored i'll let it grow out. I really couldn't care less what anyone else does, it is just like skirt lengths, changes over time.

As a single women i am bald . Men do not like hairy pussies that is a fact, whet want to see what women have to offer between their legs rather than fight through pubic hair.

I've never bothered and am mid 40s. Don't fancy the pain or the risks of ingrowing hairs, if I had daughters I would certainly be encouraging them to stay au natrel for as long as possible. My sons have seen me and their dad hairy so I hope they won't be swayed by modern tastes.

I hate the thought of young people being I influenced by porn and the thought that hairless is normal/desirable.

Oh it's been simply weeks since we had a thread like this... as always, some women spend so much time pondering other women's pubic hair arrangements which are none of their damned business.

Perhaps if you stop watching triple like 'Naked Attraction' you wouldn't be so fixated? It's creepy the level of interest that some posters have about other women's bodies.

I wax it all off. Am 39. I shaved it from a young teenager as I just prefer it this way. The women I have been with were either waxed or trimmed, fine either way. A lot of men do shave and wax now too, my husband does. People should do what makes them comfortable

Please enlighten me. When you get a wax done at a salon. Do you literally lie there, spread eagled whilst the therapist deals with the business? Is it awkward or similar to going for a pap smear? Just perfunctory.
