It's not the first time and most likely the last and I'm raging I was the first time and have been every time.
He did it again last night he went out for a few drinks so I had our DS in our bed so he didn't disturb me when he got home as I'm not too well at the moment so he slept in our sons bed and he again pissed the bed I woke up at 4am to the washing machine going so ok at least he has made the effort to sort it out but that's not my point it's still gone into the new mattress.

God, I broke up with a previous boyfriend when he pissed on my hair straighteners when we were staying at a hotel somewhere. I still bump into him from time to time, and from what I can gather he's still the same. Life is too short to put up with behaviour like this.

WelcomeToMyCandyStore · 25/11/2018 11:53

How on earth does someone manage to piss on hair straightners Noel? That sounds like it needs precision!

My ex pissed in the wardrobe on my fucking clothes once, diry knob head Angry

They were still sitting out on the desk/ dressing table and he got up during the night and pissed all over them...and some makeup too if I remember correctly. He was an arse.

Haven't rtft but came in to tell you to buy washable waterproof mattress protectors for all your beds.

Or alternatively don't be in a relationship with someone with so little self control that they piss in the bed.

labazs · 26/11/2018 16:25

my exhusband was an alcoholic eventually drank himself to death but he would pee anywhere the end came when he thought it funny to urinate on me

masterandmargarita · 26/11/2018 16:29

Don't mattress protectors make the bed all hot and sweaty?

llangennith · 26/11/2018 23:08

No mattress protectors don't make you sweaty. They're usually material on one side. Washable. M&S sell them, J Lewis, Amazon.

FermatsTheorem · 26/11/2018 23:18

I beg to differ - regardless of the coating, they are, by definition, waterproof and therefore make you sweat like a bastard.

I couldn't be doing with this. If he can't control his bladder when he drinks, he needs to stop drinking. If he's not prepared to do that, then LTB.

Life is too short to waste living with a fucking pig. (Actually that's an insult to pigs which I apologize for: pigs have a corner of their pen which they use as a toilet and they don't piss or crap anywhere else, which is a distinct step up from OP's husband).

everydaymum · 26/11/2018 23:23

Who gives a cr.p about mattress protectors, that's not the issue. You wouldn't leave your healthy, issue-free kids in nappies for the rest of their lives because they're too feral or lazy to use a toilet, you'd do something about it. We're talking about a grown man who knows he pisses the bed when he's had a few, but keeps on drinking. OP claims he's not an alcoholic or unwell enough to be incontinent, so he's just bloody foul and has no respect for his family.
