I like this family but I can’t help but wince when I see a plate full of biscuits on their foot rest surrounded by feet encased in trainers.

AIBU to think they should TAKE THEM OFF!

I wear my shoes indoors - it's normal to me. It would be weird to shout at someone for what they do in their own home I think.....

But they’re on tv and their shoe treads are staring at me in close proximity to their communal biscuits.

Yes, it’s Dave the gorgeous dog family. Love them but please, take your shoes off!

I wear shoes inside but I do think the same when I see that they have their feet up beside the food.

If I was on prime time tv I would take my shoes off! It turns my stomach tbh.

Oh I love that family!! And Dave the dog! We’re a shoes off household but I can’t say I’ve ever noticed their shoes on.

I take my shoes off because I prefer to wear comfy slippers in the house. Shoes indoors feels too formal to me. I don't know anyone who wears shoes indoors.

Urgh it's awful. I've got friends who wear shoes indoors. No matter the weather. And they leave them on when they come round ours too. And they put them up on the sofa. Gross.

I have a foot problem which means I have to wear shoes at all times unless I'm sleeping (although I even wear a splint in bed) so I would have my shoes on indoors but I wouldn't have them on the furniture or near food

I always eye up their plate of treats, honest every time they're on screen the plate has something different on it!

And they leave them on when they come round ours too. And they put them up on the sofa. Gross.

My bigger issue is how the dogs NEVER snaffle a crumb!

I stepped in dog poo yesterday. And am still traumatised by it even though I do not wear shoes indoors. If I did it would be trod all over my house . People who wear shoes in the house tread remnants of poo, spit and all sorts of disgusting things around their house. Imagine if you had crawling babies!

I wouldn't put my feet by the shoes but I do often wear shoes indoors.

I hate seeing their socks more - especially if people wear white ones or trainer socks- ew. (White socks should only be worn by children and athletes and trainer socks only when the trainer is on!)

What you do in your own home, fine. This family is on a popular tv programme. Every episode, they have a plate full of different nibbles, nibbles surrounded by foot treads.

I think it’s the fact that their shoes/trainers are stretched out alongside their chosen ‘nibble of the day’ while being filmed, just turns my stomach.

We wear shoes indoors. Sometimes slippers for comfort in the evening but usually shoes if we’re up and dressed. It’s too cold underfoot to wander around in socks or tights. Ceramic tiles on Earth are chilly. Plus if you’re in and out to fetch logs, walk the dog, drive to shops, pop,in to check on neighbours you’d be forever putting shoes on and off.

Their snacks are legendary. I love dad Malones face when he disapproves of something - it’s like an aged baked potato which was rejected before it could be filled with tuna mayo.
