And invite you to join me?
What are you brilliant at, nothing is too trivial.
What can you do exceptionally well?

I make very good gravy! Don't know why because my cooking isn't good but my gravy and sauces always come out well Confused

I'm good at being funny, cheers people up and I'm a great dancer - show me a dance floor and I'm there all night ( with no alcohol, don't drink).

Best one is I'm good at having a total brass neck- I'll do/say things my friends/ family won't because I just don't care. Some legendary ones Inc saying I'm German to get out of driving down a one way street the wrong way, blagging getting at the side of the stage at a big gig as I had my arm in a sling.

HairySpice
Oh gosh I have that too - people very quickly tell me their life stories!

girlandboy · 18/11/2018 11:03

My mince pies are to die for.

DH once volunteered me to make 5 dozen of them for a work's Christmas do, and I fully expected him to bring some back. Nope, not one! Apparently "Dave ate 7 and said they were incredibly moreish"
Good old Dave! 👍

UpstartCrow · 18/11/2018 11:03

I write my own knitting patterns.

girlandboy · 18/11/2018 11:05

Oh, and I have a form of synaesthesia which makes adding and subtracting very easy!

Amyerda · 18/11/2018 11:11

I'm really good at finding very cheap holidays abroad. There! I found one at long last

Oatomatom · 18/11/2018 11:12

I’m a whizz at working out and using public transport systems - less useful in London now that everyone has Citymapper, but handy on holiday.

And I’m utterly, boringly reliable. The sort of person people ask to be Executor of their will.

lazyarse123 · 18/11/2018 11:20

I'm an excellent bag packer, i've had compliments. I'm also good at finding and remembering my way around places.

Birdie6 · 18/11/2018 11:22

I make a wonderful white sauce . My family just love it.

Streambeam · 18/11/2018 11:25

I fall asleep within 10 seconds of closing my eyes.

Also, I’m good at using metaphors to explain things to people.

hollieberrie · 18/11/2018 11:28

I'm really good at choosing delicious cakes and pastries in cafes and bakeries. I can always tell just by looking which one will be the gooey-est and tastiest. I never fail! CakeGrin

Nightgremlin · 18/11/2018 11:40

I've got a great sense of direction, even if I've only been somewhere once it's like a map imprints on my brain and I just know which way to go.
I can approach most horses from the floor and get a 'tune' out of them within a few minutes, I don't know how I do it, I can't explain how to do it but I just seem to tune in and ask them the right way and they want to respond. It is possible it's a learned skill, and I read their body language and just adjust my approach in line with them to perform a partnership, but if someone says 'how did you do that' I can't explain it.
Strangely these days I'm not a very good rider, I am poorly coordinated now and have rubbish balance, and don't ride very often and then only older and more experienced horses, but they tend to 'look after' me and are patient. My own horse is a complete knob at times and was labelled 'dangerous' at one point, he'll do anything for me, and I can talk him down in a few minutes if something upsets him.

MrsSarahSiddons · 18/11/2018 11:46

I can think really fast.

ShowerOfShite · 18/11/2018 11:56

I have a calming effect on people and can quickly make them feel better about themselves.

Also great in at general knowledge.

FruitCider · 18/11/2018 12:15

I'm really good at suturing... and dirty origami 😂🙈

Justaposition · 18/11/2018 12:19

@Lindtnotlint My Dad declares that he wouldn't find water in a river (I can vouch for his lack of skills therein)

yesmelord · 18/11/2018 12:21

I can remember hundreds of birthday dates, from people I don't even talk to anymore or even from people I went to primary school with!

Comes in handy with my husbands HUGE family!!

RobertDeNiro · 18/11/2018 12:25

I’m fabulous at drawing. Recent one of a turtle I did:

Mosaic123 · 18/11/2018 12:27

I have a good sense of smell. If something is just going off or there is a damp problem I can smell it when others can't.

This is not a particularly useful trait to have. I am very sensitive to perfume smells and find it hard to be in the same room with some people.

I should be a drugs dog!

Letsmoveondude · 18/11/2018 12:29

I'm an excellent judge of character. It drives my husband mad.

Almostfifty · 18/11/2018 12:51

Me too dude,.

I am also a good baker.

redastherose · 18/11/2018 12:52

Scones! I make lovely scones and don't even need a recipe.

Also, I'm the practical sort things out one. Always have been the person to come to in a crisis as I keep calm and deal with things.

TheFivePointPalmHeartOfTafiti · 18/11/2018 13:01

I’m great at making tea - if I make a round then at least one person will give a satisfied groan upon taking their first sip and say ‘oooh, that’s a lovely cup of tea’. Oddly I don’t make nice coffee, go figure!

Polkapjs · 18/11/2018 13:02

I could do with a cheese scone please and s holiday finding person
What am good at? Bringing people round if they’re in a bad mood

TheQueef · 18/11/2018 13:44

Oh that is a pro life skill Palmheart I love the crisis brew tray.
