TO think Nursery are taking the piss!

I’ve just been told to drive back and provide nappies as I forgot his bag. Not allowed to leave any on site have to provide them daily. I explained I am now in Work and can’t they use spares to be told we don’t have any spares you need to bring some by 11.
Surely nurseries have to have spare nappies on site?

Ridiculous they should buy a bag or so to keep for situations like these.

But it's not "a bag or so" is it? They'd need to have all the different sizes - it soon adds up, especially if they also end up having to "stock" different makes for specific reasons.

In actual fact, they will have spares etc., but if they don't make a hard stand, parents would just take the piss and they'd end up giving out freebies to everyone. It's human nature, sadly, for some people to take the piss.

Look at it this way. If u went out for the day and forgot nappies. You wouldn’t be asking strangers to use theirs. U would have to go and buy them.

It seems crazy that they can't provide a nappy. Surely there are, what, 6 sizes of nappy? And the smaller ones probably aren't going to be needed as babies that young wouldn't be in Nursery. So buy a pack of each size 3-6 or whatever, and charge parents for each one used - something silly like 50p a time, so it's not exorbitant, but it discourages the CFs from doing it all the time.

It's ridiculous that you can't leave nappies there - even if you could leave a day's supply, so that there are some the if you do forget.

This is why I used a nursery that included nappies in the cost. I couldn’t have coped with having to source and sort nappies daily. I’d change nursery.
