Bridesmaid can’t make my wedding - AIBU?

I’m getting married next year and one of my bridesmaids now can’t come to the wedding because she’s joining the Navy and she’ll be training. AIBU to be furious and think friends shouldn’t do this?!

Think the OP gone off to write to the admiralty !

It's ok to be sad about this, but not really doable to think she can leave her Navy training to come to the wedding. She probably feels sad about it too. Don't lose a friend over this.
