AIBU to not wear panty liners every day?

Tbh this is a complete new one for me. Was having a conversation with a friend yesterday who wears panty liners every day and has done since she was 15. I’d never heard of this before and told her so. She told me I was a manky minge Grin and that everybody wore them. Is this true? Thoughts please ....

You're not wrong. I've known about one person who occasionally wore them when not on her period for some reason, but most people don't. There's nothing wrong with our bodies that we need to protect the world from- sanitary wear is one thing but it's unnecessary to wear stuff when we're not on our periods IMO.

Obviously it's diffferent if someone has an (even undiagnosed) medical condition, with awkward symptoms, but most people don't need them. I've only known one bloke who wore a 'lad pad' to absorb his natural secretions sometimes Grin. They don't feel they ought to, so why should we?

I suppose everyone is different, so sorry if I've offended anyone. I didn't realise the extent of the differences until after I'd read more of the posts (perils of posting after a drink. :)) This is a useful thread.

I've never worn them outside of during a period in my life. This is a thing people do? And your mate thinks everyone does? She's wrong.

I'm another one who wears them everyday. I have quite lot of discharge, I'm sweaty and I can leak if I laugh too hard. A daily liner keeps me fresh and dry.

I have recently started using reusable ones and I'm pleased with them.
