Bluerose82 · 07/01/2020 21:14

Nothing has been put on here since 2018. Any updates on getting single mmr Vaccines here in UK?

Firstawake · 09/01/2020 07:50

No link.

No. This was suggested in a very flawed study by a doctor. Andrew Wakefield, who was later struck off for multiple dishonest practices, including a failure to declare conflicts of interest (he had a patent on a rival single measles vaccine; he was funded for the study by a firm of lawyers helping parents to sue the vaccine manufacturers). There have been studies since, which show no link. For example, the MMR vaccine was withdrawn for a few years in Japan and then reintroduced. There were no effects on autism rates,

They are mostly thriving because they aren't exposed to the diseases, because most other children have been vaccinated.

If vaccination rates go down, then illness will go up. As has already happened in some places.

CasperGutman · 31/03/2024 23:03

The evidence that MMR isn't a cause of autism is much stronger than the evidence for the safety of (say) cornflakes or bacon sandwiches or pizza. Why does nobody start threads asking whether anyone is worried about giving their child pizza?

I've found the 'plandemic' bunch can't let go of the attention they got during COVID times so go around banging the drum when they need a boost.

Calamitousness · 01/04/2024 09:09

@Chloejasmine02 YABU. Neurodiversity is mostly genetic, sometimes following brain injury, some chromosomal (again usually genetic component). None vaccine related.

I am curious as to how many subjects were in this study you did? Must have been a decent amount to come to this conclusion?
