To ask what people are afraid of with a People's Vote?

Estimates reckon there were nearly a million people at the Peoples Vote march yesterday so support for it is high.

Why is it such a threat to others though?

If you're so convinced Leaving is the right thing to do for the country, why wouldn't you want that to be endorsed now people have a clearer idea of what is to come?

Or is it that you're worried Leave would now lose as it's been made clear there are no upsides?

In which case why do you want to go ahead with it anyway?

It doesn't matter if it's anticipated or not if lorries cannot cross into or out of the country without customs checks according to international law. We know that we do not have the capacity or infrastructure to cope with these checks, and we have not now enough time to prepare for them even with anticipation. May and her sorry excuse for a government have taken us right down to the line in their pathetic attempts at negotiation (bluster, largely) and now we do not have enough time to prepare for the worst. That's the problem.

FFS - Leavers are countering the possibility of a Peoples vote by promising Brexit 50p's now!

Cos that will change everything.

I do often wonder what the next generations will think when they look back at this fiasco.

We wrote our letters today ready to post. Even the children all wrote one although my youngest didn't want to write about Brexit (fine) she wrote to the PM asking her to make a law that all leftovers must be given to dogs. She things it's cruel that the dog has to watch while leftovers go in the bin.

Bearbehind · 29/10/2018 19:35

kenn I know you're a Remainer but I'm sorry- do you honestly think it's appropriate to allow your child to write to the PM about giving left overs to dogs?????

It does rather undermine how important other correspondence might be.

Your DD won’t have to worry about leftovers going in the bin if there’s a No Deal Brexit.
