So far today he's had a tiny bit of buttered brioche and a chocolate lolly. He's point blank refused his lunch (pasta and mackerel in tomato sauce, sounds grim I know but he usually loves it.) Hoping it's just because he's under the weather rather than the start of a PITA fussy phase.

Cutesbabasmummy · 16/10/2018 12:48

Yesterday at my mum's my 3 year old had :-

Weetos with a cup of milk at home for breakfast

Greek yoghurt with blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.

Satsuma

We usually have soup or eggs on toast for supper but we had Nando’s today and she ate a few chips and some chicken.

Small cup of milk before bed.

MyGuideJools · 18/10/2018 19:58

My friend came round today with her 2.8 year old. She bought his lunch. A jam sandwich and Wotsits washed down with milk.
Apparently for tea he will have plain pasta with strips of ham cut in precise 1 inch stripsGrin and a weetabix before bed.
She says he has been eating this menu for about 6 weeks now despite being offered a wide variety of foods. She has given in for now!
I'm glad mine are grown up nowGrin

bumblebee39 · 18/10/2018 20:02

Blueberry rice cakes, mini box of apricots and raisins, cup of formula

Crumpet with butter, melon, pouch of blueberries and yoghurt, chocolate brioche

Water

Cheese puffs, Jaffa cakes, more rice cakes and a cup of very dilute apple juice

Cup of formula

That's a very weird/bad day but trying to get him into proper solids is a struggle

SnugglySnerd · 18/10/2018 20:08

Cheerios as a pre-nursery snack then cornflakes at nursery.
Lunch was some sort of chicken-rice thing (at nursery) and ice cream. I can't remember what they said tea was but they ate it all.
Dinner at home was cheese and tomato pizza, oven chips, cucumber and homemade rice pudding.
Today was quite a bad day. Normally there is more fruit and veg but we both had to work late.

zukiecat · 18/10/2018 20:09

Can someone link to the "chicken nugget gate" thread please?

My DDs are adults now, but I have a friend with a three year old DD, and I never say anything, but I think her diet is very poor

I'm not going to post it on here, that wouldn't be fair, I'm no health food addict and I was fairly relaxed about what my own DDs ate, but I'm often shocked by this little girl's diet

Banana770 · 18/10/2018 20:17

DD coming up for 3 had:

Breakfast - weetabix with milk (and was angered because the milk was mixed with the weetabix) and a slice of peanut butter on toast

Snack - banana

Lunch - Philadelphia sandwich, chicken, strawberries, yogurt, cheese

Snack - snack bar

Dinner - Fritatta, chips, beans with strawberries after.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 18/10/2018 20:31

My mother gave Ds a toffee crisp at 4pm. As a result he had no tea. Bovril on toast for supper, which he only at one half a slice of. Could be a long night as he’ll be hungry at 3am!!

bumblebee39 · 19/10/2018 18:37

Breakfast
Peanut butter sandwich on white bread
Mango and peach yoghurt pouch
Cup of formula

Snack
Cheese puffs (eaten) carrot (uneaten), water

Lunch
A few different biscuits and some diluted apple juice Woops

Dinner
