To ask what weird smells other people like?

My fella thinks I'm weird because I like to go in the garden and smell the damp wood on the shed.
If we are in the petrol station I open my passenger door and inhale as deep as I can which he says is embarrassing because I do it so obviously.
I love the smell of the pink stuff that car bumpers are patched up with aswell.
Also dogs when they've been in the rain.

Don't know how he can talk and say I'm a freak when he sits and enjoys the smell of his own farts.

Anyone else like weird smells that other people would find strange or just me?

Petrol was the first thing that popped into my head. When I'm pregnant it's washing powder/clean laundry, I used to stand smelling the clean clothes when I'd dried them, I think my husband thought I'd lost the plot. I only like the smell when I'm pregnant though strangely.

I love the smell of new books, I occasionally have a wander around waterstones just to have a good sniff.

Also love the smell of the greengrocers, (unlike the butchers which just smells like blood) though those are something of a rarity now

When I was a child I used to go to the photo shop to get the film developed. The whole shop just smelt amazing. It was a warm and chemically smelly. I can still smell it though the shop is long gone and it's been nearly 30 years since I smelt that smell!

Also..

Petrol
Just blown out candles/matches
Slightly burnt buttery toast!

When I was pregnant I loved the smell of fairy washing powder. Would sniff it for ages!

I just remembered another smell from my school days... copydex glue! Not sure I actually liked the smell. It was more the memory of enjoying how disgusting it smelled. It was very fishy. It was brilliant for painting on your hand and pretending to peel your skin off though .😂

When I was little we had a caravan that we went on holiday in, and the toilet had this blue stuff in it, some kind of chemical I guess, that was used in place of water...I bloody loved that smell. Sometimes I catch a whiff of it at work (airport) and it takes me right back..
Also, coffee (don’t drink coffee), washing powder, and anything that reminds me of my smelly eraser collection in the 80s
