I'm on the ball today, made a potato hash which is ready to be heated once the girls are home from school. My stomachs already rumbling for it lol.

What's on your menu for today?

I'll serve it with some carrot and pepper sticks.

Soyalatteforme · 08/10/2018 15:21

Sweet potato satay curry with quinoa and broccoli. Yum! Might get some Naan to mop up the sauce!!

Treaclepie19 · 08/10/2018 15:24

@Soyalatteforme I'm totally making that one day. Yum!

Soyalatteforme · 08/10/2018 15:27

Bugger all. I was on nights last night and have waited up today for various engineers to call. I am on nights again tomorrow so will probably just go to bed and sleep til morning.

moonfacebaby · 08/10/2018 15:31

Fish pie with samphire & green beans...it’s bloody lovely 😊

Lethaldrizzle · 08/10/2018 15:37

Soya - looks amazing. I'm going to try making that tonight. Just need to get me some red curry paste

Bubbaduck · 08/10/2018 15:37

Pasta bolognaise (not a fan of spaghetti as I make so much mess with it so use penne instead.)

saltypeanuts · 08/10/2018 15:38

Sweet and sour chicken with rice and peppers and mange tout

saltypeanuts · 08/10/2018 15:38

carbuncleonapigsposterior · 08/10/2018 15:42

Home made fish pie, consisting of salmon, smoked haddock, cod and broccoli topped with a cheese and chive sauce and covered with a layer of thin sliced potatoes which brown nicely during cooking and don't take as long to prepare as mash.

adoggymama · 08/10/2018 15:43

Defrosted chicken all set for a nice curry and along comes morning sickness. The thoughts of cooking..ugh. I was looking forward to it literally two hours ago.

MysweetAudrina · 08/10/2018 15:48

corn fed chicken, fresh pesto, penne pasta and grated cheese. Work nights so has to be something easy to prepare that everyone will eat.

lexi727 · 08/10/2018 15:50

Salmon, chorizo and asparagus risotto I think. Can't stop thinking about the stirring though...

dontyouforgetaboutme · 08/10/2018 15:51

children are having left over roast turkey and gravy with some mash and veg. I'm having stir fried salmon with pakchoy, beansprouts and baby corn. Monday is my cleanse day (no meat, no booze, no carbs).

XingMing · 08/10/2018 15:52

Using up the leftover roast beef over two days, so one day will be cottage pie with green beans, and the other will be a Thai beef salad. As it's dark and chilly here, it might be the cottage pie tonight.

Soyalatteforme · 08/10/2018 15:54

Enjoy @LethalDrizzle !!

PastaRedWine · 08/10/2018 16:05

Spaghetti and meatballs.

The tomato sauce is gently simmering away for the afternoon.

Mrsharrison · 08/10/2018 16:07

Pork and cider casserole with prunes plus mash.

yellowplumpreserves · 08/10/2018 16:09

Bean chilli, with green salad, grated cheese, yoghurt/sour cream and tortillas.

rainingcatsanddog · 08/10/2018 16:12

Pulled pork has been cooking since midday. We'll have it in rolls with coleslaw.
