I was watching tv 'this morning' today... a interview came on about a man who had been looking at indecent images. He got a 2 year suspended sentence?? This is indirect ABUSE.. it's still ABUSE whether it's indirect or direct! A suspended sentence is a fucking joke

This kind of crime needs a more severe punishment! Bring back capital punishment for these crimes! There are a lot of monsters in this world

He cannot be named for legal reasons. That will never change, irrespective of outcome of trial.

And even though many people know his ID from Social Media they are fucking idiots to repeat it as it could mean his trial gets thrown.

His name and picture is all over Facebook as well as a picture of the baby (they believe) I understand why people are doing it but they must know they are jeopardizing the case

The PSNI have been all over Facebook warning people not to name him or share photos, and pointing to a case in England where a case collapsed because of it.

But people are doing it anyway. I can't get my head round how stupid people can be. This is so high profile that the people naming him are almost guaranteeing that he will not be brought to justice.

He has been identified in prison the article was published with a picture of the prison he is in and telling everyone where in the prison he is what's the betting someone from the outside tells someone on the inside FFS why don't people think

In fairness there are only two adult prisons in N Ireland and for the type of offence in question, there is only one of them that he would be sent to. So even if the prison wasn't named, almost anyone in N Ireland could tell you where he is likely to be.

Cosynights. Latest update is he was attacked by other prisoners and is now being held in a secure wing, with a round the clock guard to protect him.

Poor baby. Hope he is doing as well as can be expected after this horrific ordeal.

Hope his rapist dies the most extremely painful death imaginable.... soon. Who wants to pay to keep that monster fed, watered and clothed for the rest of it's life? Get rid of it!

I think the prisoner who attached him only hit him a few times before it was stopped. Unfortunately.
