WTAF!? What the fuck is wrong with people, this is absolutely disgusting how can people do such things?? This breaks my heart so much. Poor innocent helpless babies/children, why, just WHY!

I was watching tv 'this morning' today... a interview came on about a man who had been looking at indecent images. He got a 2 year suspended sentence?? This is indirect ABUSE.. it's still ABUSE whether it's indirect or direct! A suspended sentence is a fucking joke

This kind of crime needs a more severe punishment! Bring back capital punishment for these crimes! There are a lot of monsters in this world

all I can say is I am glad they have caught him. This is so shocking!

There is a bloke round the corner from me that has just been sentenced for child abuse. He had on his computer over ten thousand images/vidoes; over 4000 of these were category A abuse images.

He got done for three counts of possessing indecent images of a child, three counts of possessing videos depicting abuse & three counts of carrying out sexual abuse on a child (not exact wording).

He got 9 months per offence. To run concurrently. And it was suspended for 2 years. Then all Google images of him were removed for his own protection because our village was gunning for his hide.

I hate to be all conspiracy theorist but something is amiss when someone who can do the shit these bastards do, gets less than somebody who has a fist fight in the street

There are no words for this are there, it's beyond what we can comprehend.

In very rare cases I’m not completely opposed to the death penalty. This is one of those cases.

There are no words-its cases like this that challenge my view of the world. I am generally quite optimistic and think that most people mean well, but this is horrific. If the man is found guilty, will the world really miss him? I believe in rehabilitation for criminals, and I know that a lot of criminals have had difficult and abusive childhoods and deserve second chances, but this? There is no coming back from this-a man who could do that to a newborn baby, just what value does he hold for society?

Will take some time to go to trial, and then what? A few years in jail and out again to repeat? These people do not think they are doing anything wrong, as I have read elsewhere.

That poor wee baby. It is really beyond belief, but any abuse by these scumbags on children is horrific, particularly so in the case of a newborn child though. Words fail me now.

The sad fact of the matter is that we do not have enough room in prisons for the amount of people convicted of these offences. It’s wrong.

RepealtheGRA-its not just the men who do this, its the women who facilitate it. Remember Ian Watkins (Lostprophets)-he had female fans who were willing to make their young children available to him.

Fuck. I don't disagree with you OP about how ferociously fucking vile this is but hands down I wouldn't have posted this without a trigger warning. I've just gone straight into panic mode and I'm struggling to breathe properly (no judging please, I'm just being honest).

Can everyone please report and ask for one (trigger edit) as multiple requests will (I think) raise it to top of mod's list as I know I'm not alone in my experiences and as thi is such an obscene example of abuse it's hard to believe I'm alone in being triggered.

its not just the men who do this, its the women who facilitate it well yes but if there weren’t men wanting to do this then there would be women facilitating it.

the sentences need to be much harsher and they need to be kept permanently away form normal society. Paedophiles who rape children aren't ever going to be normal functional members of society.
