Has anyone been to a psychic who has told them something that has come true?

Just that really, years ago I went to see two different psychics about a couple of years apart and they have got things quite close to the mark, somethings that even I did not volunteer!

I am quite skeptical, so I tend to go into these meetings with an attitude of trying to be as poker faced as possible.

The last one I went to see said I would have a little girl, and twins!

I’ve recently had a little girl so she got that right! I know not that much of a coincidence! I keep joking with my oh saying it will be twins next time!

So, my partner thinks it’s a whole load of rubbish, I don’t, I try to keep an open mind!

Not really AIBU but would like to hear stories from other people about things coming true or not true and opinions about whether people believe there is something in it?

It a future event but a past event and passed in a messsge. The thing is, I didn’t go to this person. Rather I met them in a class setting for something totally not related (a craft class). She told me my grandmother had a message for me. It was so specific and took away huge amounts of guilt I had over her death. The woman had no way knowing my grandmother was dead nor how she died nor even the fact I had specific guilt about her death which was not being there. So I do believe they can get it right.

When I was walking down the street at 7 months pregnant, a woman stopped me and told me she was a psychic. She informed me I will have a child, and very soon. My face was Hmm , she then kindly informed she accepts donations.

So technically she was correct that I will have a child.

Yes. They told me my name was probably a combination of letters and I'd die in the next 100 years. Mysterious or what?

@AdoreTheBeach - that’s lovely, I’ve seen a couple, where they have performed to a crowd and had a couple of private readings and a few of them have got things very close to the mark!

If that happened it would only be coincidence.

Have you ever watched any Derren Brown programmes. He shows people how psychics work. It's not mystical at all

The medium I visited told me I'd have a boy as there hadn't been any boys in our family for a long time, she was right, I had two. She also told me that my Granddad says he likes the cliffs, we had recently scattered his ashes on Beachy Head.

I’ve been to a pyschic & a medium. The psychic was in a town over an hour away from where I was living & he told me I’d be living near where he was in the next few years. I laughed at him cos there was no way I was moving but about 2 years later my marriage broke down & I had moved to where the psychic was. I actually forgot what he had said until about a year after I moved. He also told me I’d have another baby & it would be a boy & he’d be quite a character (true).
The medium was able to say an aunt on my dads side had passed away many years before & he told me her name (not a popular one) and that people always said I looked like her (true!) & that she was there at that moment standing beside me & she wanted me to know she’d always look out for me. He gave me many quite specific details. When I told my dad (who is a skeptic) he got quite emotional as she was his youngest sister & had a hard death from breast cancer. She was only early 40’s when she died.

I see a psychic every 6-12 months, record the readings and listen back from time to time. She gets approx 70% right. I don't care if other people don't believe, I enjoy it.

I saw a medium a few years ago who as I walked into the room told me the names of my parents, sister and children, as well as those of neighbours when I was growing up and pets among many others. He also described in great detail the recent funeral of my uncle and was spot on with the hymns and music chosen.
He was astonishingly accurate and this was before I was on Facebook so all he had to go on was my first name before the reading.

i have severe PCOS

im 37 and never had a period, had a very light first one at 12 and never seen since.

i was told at 17 i was infertile as my ovaries never matured and are covered in tiny cysts

i was at a in law get together at 19 and was told by their neighbor, a sweet old dear i would have 2 male kids by the time im 30 and they wouldnt be close in age and me and my oh(he was 18 at the time and we had already been together 2 years)would never be with anyone else as we will be together forever

i was yeah right and told her my health issues

in 2004 when i was 23 i had a baby boy

completely natural pregnancy(even though i still had no periods) and at 30 in 2010 i had a baby boy after 4 years of the strongest strength clomid tablets(still wasn't having periods) bar a month there was 6 years between them

19 years later we are still together and very happy,not married though as im not interested

I went to one who said I would have a girl, then a boy, then a girl. I wouldn't have any problems with my pregnancies. I have a DS and have had two miscarriage since.

Yes, psychic told me I was going to get myself into trouble at a certain age ( I was young) I went on holiday few year later ( that same age) and found myself in a situation that was bad, really bad actually and I look back now and realise I was lucky to get out it. Could be a coincidence, who knows?

Yes told I would have twin boys also would move in a hurry..to a place a long way from where Iived. then all these things happened.it was 8 years after that I had twin boys.

My grandmother visited a psychic who told her she would have four children and move overseas. She was correct.
