I don't know why you're telling me to grow up?
I have a legitimate concern so I don't see why that needs me to grow up.
I agree we should reverse brexit decision but me being worried about what would happen if they did is a legitimate concern as I would rather no violence occurred tbh.
I think people forget that it's jot just racists that voted brexit, it's also people that stupidly used it as an excuse to shove one to the government.
We've had for years seen our industries going, traditional industrial towns be wrecked, people on benefits vilified, cuts to education, defence, healthcare etc.
And every government has trotted out stuff blaming the EU for these problems then wonder why a large group of people vote against the EU.
It doesn't help people that voted brexit get instantly called thick or racist, they already feel society looks down on them in their day to day lives so see this as another way for the rich to belittle them.
Again I voted remain. But I think we also need to discuss why people voted leave.
And we need to listen to them.
If we want to remain and get the decision reversed, then we need to change the minds of brexiteers.
We need to listen to their concerns and try do policies that help.
E.g. if people fear immigration, do what other countries do, if you haven't found employment in 3 months leave.
