It's in alcove in kitchen where we keep Hoover and stuff
I've been doing the recycling
It is messy and I am bricking it
Does it bite

Why don't you just knock it off into a jar or cup and have a closer look?

I don't think it's a bat. And a moth would probably be flatter against the wall if that makes sense. I would say perhaps it's a chrysalis or a pupa which is on the verge of "hatching", if it's moving.

There is no way I could leave this - imagine if it escapes to roam your house, I'd never sleep again!!!
