2010Aussie They should have used Elaine instead of Sharon Wink

I follow Fopperholic on Instagram and she's recently posted all through her (ivf) pregnancy journey. They've called their resulting twin boys Grayson and Lawson. Either name on its own is ok, together it's just a bit too matchy-matchy for me! Twin names should go nicely together, but not in a 'we'll be dressed identically into our 50s' type way!

I also know a Jamie James, and an Alana who's got a brother (not her twin) called Alan.

SinkGirl · 11/09/2018 15:40

My twins have very similar names to Jacob and James - one is the same as one of those names and the other is different but also starts with J. I love their names 🤷‍♀️

I know lots of twins and some names are a bit nuts. I spoke to one twin Mum who called her girls Mia and Maya. There’s also a Ronnie and Reggie in my local twin group.

I have a mate Jack, with sisters Jemma and Jodie. His children are John, Jaime, Jaden, Jesse, and another one who I can't remember but it begins with a J.

Although, a boy in the year above at school was named Alan Allen, which I think trumps the lot.

FishCanFly · 11/09/2018 15:42

i went to school with Edward and Edgar

FishCanFly · 11/09/2018 15:47

We knew a family of four children - Shane, Wayne, Dwayne and Sharon
I knew a guy called Cain. His brothers were Shane and Wayne.

SirVixofVixHall · 11/09/2018 15:54

I really hope that Tim and Tom mentioned upthread had a sister, Tamara. ... to be fair Timothy and Thomas are not that alike.

SinkGirl · 11/09/2018 16:01

Now wondering if we all know the same Ronnie and Reggie or if there are a few...

My boys often wear coordinating or matching clothes. They’re not even 2, they don’t care what they wear but it’s much easier for me to spot them at soft play or toddler groups!

Met a brother and sister once named Ciara and Ciaran

My face was like: Hmm

notfromstepford · 11/09/2018 16:25

I knew two sisters - Mercedes and Porsche.
At first when I heard Porsche I thought it was Portia - but no it was written Porsche.
They were from a a very wealthy family and the only expectation of them was to marry well Hmm which I believe they did and probably drove round in cars with the same name as them Grin

LordOfTheFleas · 29/09/2018 11:14

It's almost a shame Katie Price hasn't had twins, with sisters, Princess and Bunny, can you imagine...!

I'd put my money on Pinky and Perky Grin

Belindabauer · 29/09/2018 11:17

I knew a Logan with a sister called Brogan.

Lymphy · 29/09/2018 12:12

I know of a girl who called her boy Billy, and gave him a middle name of William. He was named after her dad and grandad. Hmm

OpiningGambit · 29/09/2018 12:25

We have two sets like that in Y1! Both identical twins, too.
(these are not the actual names, but follow the pattern)

Paul and Saul

Maximus and Maximillian

EmperorTomatoRetchup · 29/09/2018 12:58

I knew one of the security guards at university who was called James and he had 5 sons all called variations on the name James: James Jnr Jimmy, Shamus, Hamish, Jago etc.

And yes he was a massive egotistical twat.

Deadringer · 29/09/2018 13:21

I know a Bonnie and Clyde
