TWIN1 is called: Roseanne
TWIN2 is called: Rosy

I only "found" MN when facing toilet training for DS2 MissLingoss. I chose each child a name, it was only once in MN I realised that some people consider sibling names need to form a set. Just why?

I know brothers, not twins, called Charlie and Harley. And two sets of sisters... one set tilly and milly, other set Kaylee and Baylee

I used to know a set of twins called Owen and Arwen. Both boys.

My twins middle names are Jack and John, which are basically the same name! I didn't twig for a while, but I guess it gives them that extra twinny connection (as well as having the same face!)

Their first names are completely different, different initials etc, so still individuals. Not that I call them by the right name most of the time. But "Oi you" also works.

I knew twins and their second name was Ball. I don’t remember their first names.

I went to school with a Paul, his big sister was Paula. Some parents are just dim.

It's not just twins - I find matchy names and surnames weird too. My grandad was John Johnson, and I went to uni with a Tom Thomson...

Not twins BUT in my sons class many years ago they used to enjoy the register being called as the one poor lad was called.....Wayne Carr.

I don’t really see anything that wrong with Jacob and James tbh. Not the same names at all.

I wouldn't be too impressed if I popped onto mumsnet and saw a thread taking the piss out of my kids names. I'd complain to the school with a screengrab. I work in a school too and I think you should ask for this to be taken down.
