Not really an AIBU but I wanted opinions on this.

A colleague of mine told me that she lays a towel down every time her and her husband have sex. She was pretty disgusted with me when I confessed that I don't undertake in such a practice, so I was wondering; am I doing this wrong?! Is a sex towel a thing??

TBH we have used a towel at times but I often go with the quick roll off the bed routine a la @herondaleducks, however we're not always quick enough and DP tends to cover up the "wet patch". I had a giggle just tonight on my return from my post-coital bathroom roll to find a small napkin on the bed and I mentioned this post. My DP is now lying here debating whether there's any correlation between the size of the towel necessary post-coital to the size of one's manhood 🤣🤣

Why does the towel.go down the bed and not across the bed? Then if you change position you are covered. You only need the coverage at the leaky bits right.

We have 2 sex towels, one under his bed, one under mine. Purely for clean up

I suppose in the end its down to personal preference. For me, as long as he's not wiping his cock on the curtains, I'm happy 😊

We use a towel for period sex, but it rarely gets more than a smudge of light brown. Otherwise, we don't bother.

We use a towel after to lay on because I am a squirter and if we put the towel on before, it would go straight through, yes, the sheets get stained, but no one else sees them except us and I wash them regularly anyway.

We do most of the time to save changing the bed. But there has been times when we haven't, meaning I was changing the sheet at daft o clock in the morning, that's a bigger faff
