Came across a story in the daily mail about him being James Bond and loads of people are saying James Bond should stay white!! Aibu to think he would make a great James Bond!!

The reason I like Craig is because I think he's very close to Ian Fleming's Bond in the books - not looks-wise but personality/attitude. I don't know how to explain really.

He has the cold brutal edge of Bond when the time comes to switch it o , and it's much better than other Bonds.

Even Connery didn't do this part well believably. Craig did in Casino Royale.

Casino Royale is an amazing film.

Dalton could do cold and brutal, he was just stuck with terrible films.

I also don’t agree with making James Bond black just to make a point.

@WWYD2016 I love the way you use the on person of colour that agrees with you to make a point that lots of other people of colour disagree with.
Plus it’s a comedy routine.

Bond has to be a type.

And whoever plays Bond has to be the best actor for the job. Personally I don't care if Bond is black, Asian, ginger, whatever. But I have to BELIEVE that person is Bond.

Bond is top of his military tree. He's a trained killer. An actor who hasn't got the right presence and 'look' (that steely cold thing) just won't cut it.

I think the days of cheesy Bond are gone.

I haven't seen Luke Evans in much but on appearance alone he's perfect. I think they'll have to go someone in their thirties as they need four or five films out of them.

I used to think Henry Cavill would be brill when he was in the tudors but not loving his personal opinions and it's put me off. And didn't like him in superman.

Throwing it out there but what about Richard Madden (just seen him in the advert for Bodyguard) or

...Oscar Isaac?
