What did you order and what did you get? If you have your receipt ring them and you will get a free one next time.

I’ve been burned by this before in a drive thru! Always glance in the bag and check it’s the right thing! Yadnbu I cried when they got mine wrong and have always checked since (I was very pregnant and emotional)

I'm still sad about the time the lady in Greggs didn't put my cornflakes cake in the bag, and that was years ago! So YANBU.

Ordered egg McMuffin and they gave me a bacon one!

I ordered a bacon McMuffin once and got a sausage. That’s a hell no person should have to go through! 💐

That's terrible. What if you were vegetarian or Muslim, Jewish etc?

I've taken wrong or missing orders back and asked for replacement and a refund because I've had to go back and they have refunded as well as replacing the food.

Otherwise, complain to the number on the receipt and ask for a refund. Putting mistakes right and offering a little gesture so the customer is 'in front' is basic customer service.

Awww no. I hate food order wrongness disappointment! Happened to me with a Pizza Hut order a couple of weeks ago, I'd driven there to collect it as well :(

YANBU. We always check what's in the bag now as it's happened way too many times. So disappointing.

I’m veggie and they have often given me meat in mine. If I have got home before realising then I am really upset like you!
I always try to remember to check before I leave now.

oh no.we learnt long ago to check the bag.and sip the drink as they always got our 'still' fanta wrong dam them!

Last time I got a wrong order, we called and complained. They have us a code and the while meal was free next time.

Just a word of warning, in America they put a slice of ham in their Egg McMuffin. If you ask, they'll make you one without and give you a sympathetic look.

Commiserations OP, (but a bacon McMuffin is awesome, my favourite, can I have it?)

My dh is mortified because I check my order at the drive thru every time because I was so disappointed when my order was wrong once!

I ordered a mcchicken sandwich at a drive through once. Got home, unwrapped the sandwich, only there was no chicken burger. It was just a Mc lettuce and mayo sandwich.

They forgot my husbands nuggets once. I've never seen a more angry hungover man.
