Stupid I know but I was looking forward to it.

We always check our meal now after not getting any fries in our order.

It can really spoil your day.

If you call them they'll give you a free one to come in and collect when it suits you, just keep the receipt

I had a sausage and egg McMuffin this morning. I planned it, was looking forward to it and I would have been gutted if it had been something else.

YANBU At All.

I went with the DC and really fancied some chicken nuggets, but didn't want to pay £3+ for 6. So got myself a happy meal. When I got to the table there was no nuggets in my box
Took it back and they gave me some but sure they thought I was trying it on.

My local McD's always gets my order wrong. I was really looking forward to a buffalo chicken wrap with everything on it. Got home and the fuckers had given me a plain wrap. So 2 bits of breaded chicken in a wrap. What a disappointment 🙁

They gave you bacon instead of egg. Supposing you were vegeterian or Muslim.

YANBU. I always check mine before I leave since the time they forgot my fries.

It's horribly common in my local one, they swap things around or just don't put them in at all! Icing on the cake was when we got a doughnut and witnessed the man drop it on the floor, pick it up again and put it in the bag. He refused to change it, so we drove home with said squashed, grimy doughnut and put it straight in the bin!

A little while back me and the husband were starving, had nothing in, but wanted to be reasonably not-fatties so ordered two chicken wraps and a side salad each at the drive through.

We got 2 big Mac meals, a chicken tasty meal and a couple of double cheeseburgers....

We ate the lot 😂 feel really sorry for whoever got our wraps and salad!

It's so easy to do.

1. Accidentally put bacon on one of a tray of egg muffins
2. Making bacon muffins but accidentally wrap them in bacon muffin wraps
3. Making bacon muffins but accidentally put them in the chute where the egg muffins usually go
4. Accidentally pick up bacon instead of egg muffin
5. Making more than one order and give out the wrong one

That's five understandable errors. It happens.

Nothing more annoying, now always check before we leave
Mostly an issue with my kids plain cheeseburgers or 12 year olds wrap as he will not touch mayonnaise not worth the stress of huffy kids and a tantruming 12 year old, I’ll eat anything though.

They always give me Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke - Coke Zero is revolting.

I agree it is an error which is easy to make. If I check while I am still there it means it is easy to get it replaced. If I have already driven home then it means going back out, and eating my food alone as everybody will have finished when I get back.

Dp just reminded me of the time I cried when kfc gave me beans instead of gravy.
I wasn't a child, drunk or pregnant. Just greedy and devastated

Yes Ethylred every single bit tastes exactly the same. In fact it's all cut from a massive play doh like roll of crap then shaped into food like shapes, slung into a flyers molten crap and then slung into bags for us plebs

Eliza if you are veggie then you won’t just take the bacon out. That would be disgusting.
Same I would imagine if you were Muslim or Jewish.

If we ever go I now sit and check all the meals before driving away from the drive thru window. It takes a bit and the workers look like they want to kill me but I got so fed up of getting the wrong order. And it's not exactly easy to change it if you've already driven away. Even if you've stuck around, for me it usually means either running in with the kids in tow or queueing behind the 50 card waiting for the drive thru
