MissLadyM I think we must be the same age - I could've written an identical list. I really wish they'd bring back cabana bars

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 22:40

Campinod

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 22:40

Thecurtainsofdestiny · 02/08/2018 22:42

Rainbows, Asda do mini Swiss rolls that I think are dairy free (but not vegan, as contain egg)

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 02/08/2018 22:44

The entermans choc cake was amazing, we also usedot buy this really nice frozen pasta dinner from marks and Spencer’s but they stopped doing it 😬

dotty12345 · 02/08/2018 22:45

@ProfessorMoody gutted! We just bought Findus minced beef crispy pancakes for a nostalgia hit, not sure it’s worth bothering now! Sad

Frosty6611 · 02/08/2018 22:48

Just remembered these.
Cadbury Christmas puds

Just remembered Cadbury's Mint Crisp

You are the only person I’ve ever seen also remember this! On the plus side, I can share that this is still available in ROI, and therefore any big Asda’s that have an Irish food section. It’s a tiny bar for £1 but worth every single penny. It’s proper dairy milk 😍

Polkapjs · 02/08/2018 22:50

I used to work in a nursing home in the noughties. Even the most infirm residents would launch out their hands at high speed for lemon puffs when I went round with the Tea trolley. I loved them too. They loved pink wafers too but I’m not so keen

Sherwil16 · 02/08/2018 22:50

I started thinking about school apricot crumble and gooseberry crumble _ both quite tart and tangy. Also my mum's chips - cut like small wedges . For a time the local Chinese take-away did some nearly as nice but then used skinny chips instead.

ThorsMistress · 02/08/2018 22:52

Turkey Twizlers food of the gods!

I have a pack of pop tarts in my cupboard. You can get them in Tesco and Sainsbury’s

MipMipMip · 02/08/2018 22:53

Polo muddled. And spearmint pops generally.

There was briefly a sort of ice lolly that may have been called shots. Tiny little balls of flavoured ice in a possible packet.

MipMipMip · 02/08/2018 22:53

Sunnybeachbabe · 02/08/2018 22:54

Findus crispy pancakes, especially cheese ones.
Chocolate sponge with mint custard, school dinners.

MadeForThis · 02/08/2018 23:06

Miss Fat Frogs too

Wacadu · 02/08/2018 23:09

About 40 years ago there were crisps called Fantastics. They were similar to Walkers Chipsticks but slightly thinner and were salt and pepper flavour I think. They had flecks of black pepper through them and were the best thing ever.

Nobody seems to remember them but me though.

Wacadu · 02/08/2018 23:10

Oh and mint Creme Eggs

Seren85 · 02/08/2018 23:10

We used to have frozen potato noisettes instead of mash or whatever with casserole. They show up every so often in Farmfoods or rebranded as "footballs" in Asda then they disappear again. Every time they appear we MUST have a beef and carrot casserole with "balls" as we called them as children.

newplacenofriends · 02/08/2018 23:15

Tuttytoffee · 02/08/2018 23:24

@Bluesheep8 They are jam mallows and you can still get them now in the likes of home bargains and b&m. Love em!

DropZoneOne · 02/08/2018 23:28

Ooh those Entenmann's cakes! They were a very special treat, bloody delicious. IIRC the company that made them in the UK went bust, but the US company is very much still going.
