I’ve had crinkle cut mini cheddars recently! The pound shop had multipacks. They’re much nicer than regular mini cheddars

I found a recipe to make the school dinner type cornflake tart, but I live alone so don’t really do big hot puddings like that as I’m not sure how well it’d reheat if if I’d want it cold. A school friend of mine tried it and said it was fab though

Theweasleytwins · 02/08/2018 22:14

Oh some sort of white chocolate with mixed berries in☺

tobee · 02/08/2018 22:14

Why did they stop making them? Why?

Gypsy Creams.

What was the name of the chocolate bar with coconut and bits of glacé cherries in it? Maybe covered in dark chocolate. I can picture it and taste it but can't remember the name!!

Spiras

Hedgehog crisps

PixieN · 02/08/2018 22:16

Anyone remember Ice Magic? It was a chocolate sauce for ice cream which solidified and tasted yummy. Not seen that since I was a kid!

ilovepixie · 02/08/2018 22:17

Also Sainsbury's used to do a thing called bacon grill. I think it was a tin and you'd slice it up then fry it and we'd have it with chips OMG!

You can get bacon grill in B&m.

Glumglowworm · 02/08/2018 22:17

@mistyreturns

I love Balisto

I discovered them while working in a shop in the Republic of Ireland about 12 years ago, found mini version in a multi pack a few years ago in B&M bargains

Seren85 · 02/08/2018 22:18

Jolly Rancher sweets
Banana Angel Delight
School dinner chocolate sponge and pink custard
Cheap frozen mousses that came stacked in a plastic bag

tobee · 02/08/2018 22:19

Ice Magic often comes up on these threads and apparently it's still very much available

Northernmum100 · 02/08/2018 22:21

Oooh- chocolate crunch! Memories of school lunches and I would literally just have chocolate crunch and custard. Found a recipe for 'chocolate concrete' and it is pretty much itSmile

TrudeauGirl · 02/08/2018 22:23

Cadbury Astros, Taz bars, dream Cadbury bar, mars delights.

Also I know it's not food but I discovered the old Chamomile yellow herbal essence from the early 2000s in a poundworld closing down sale. That's not even seen in the Uk anymore i don't think. I bulk brought them cheap as I haven't seen it in years and it was a real nostalgic moment for me. (Yes I'm sad Grin)

abitoflight · 02/08/2018 22:24

rainbowsandsmiles · 02/08/2018 22:27

Not read the thread.
Loved Findus Crispy pancakes.
Also used to love Viennetta, Angel Delight and swiss roll. Even if do still exist will have to remain a memory as can't tolerate milk as an adult! If they do I'll have to try and veganise them. Smile

rainbowsandsmiles · 02/08/2018 22:29

Ice Magic often comes up on these threads and apparently it's still very much available

Not seen actual Ice Magic brand but have seen Asda do their own version.

Can anyone remember Fish and Chips? They were little biscuits in the shape of fish and chips but they were actually fish and chip flavoured, not like the one you can buy now that are salt&vinegar. Again they were from Woollies.

minime01 · 02/08/2018 22:33

I miss potato puff crisps oooo they were so good

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 22:33

You can still get Zzap lollies!

Thelastredwinegum · 02/08/2018 22:34

@whatsmyname14 google Aussie crunch recipes

@lovestonap & @mavydoes you can still get Crackin ice cream sauce

I miss those little ice-cream mousse things, supposed to leave to defrost for a bit but we would just eat them straight from the freezer.
