to ask how often you have a bath?

I'm not talking about showers, I'm talking lying/sitting down in a tub.

We have been having one about 3 times a week (me and dp share bath water), but I'm wondering if this is too much? We shower the other days, obviously. I know people who never have baths as they say it's too expensive.

Does anyone know how much it costs to have a bath (from the water usage perspective?) Our ater bill isn't outrageous so I'm curious to know how much the baths could be adding to it.

Twice a day, one in the morning and another before bed, I feel really unclean if I’ve not had one.

Annabelle4 · 31/07/2018 21:51

Every second night, shower inbeteeen

hubblebubbletoiltrouble · 31/07/2018 21:52

Once a month approx

Canshopwillshop · 31/07/2018 21:54

Oh I love a nice soaky bath and normally have one most days, it’s been more showering lately though in the hot weather. I love escaping to a warm bath, locked bathroom door and a good book - bliss!

extinctspecies · 31/07/2018 21:55

Every weekend, when I have more time.

Showers during the week.

No idea how much it costs.

DH & I usually share.

ForalltheSaints · 31/07/2018 21:57

Shower every day, bath is rare. Had one on holiday a few weeks ago.

Lynne1Cat · 31/07/2018 21:57

Probably once a fortnight, when I want to shave my legs...otherwise, showers every morning and evening

TokyoSushi · 31/07/2018 21:59

About x3 per year, shower at least once daily

Gillian1980 · 31/07/2018 21:59

About once a month, sharing with toddler dd.... bubbles, toys etc. It’s good fun.

The rest of the time I shower, either alone or with dd.

Gillian1980 · 31/07/2018 22:00

More likely to have a relaxing soak in the tub in the winter. Just too warm at the moment for it.

lifechangesforever · 31/07/2018 22:01

Both DH and I have baths every other day. I couldn't live without them!

Lockheart · 31/07/2018 22:04

Rarely. Mostly when in a hotel or if I'm unwell. I like baths but they're expensive and take ages.

MumInTheCity · 31/07/2018 22:23

Every morning before work and sometimes in the evening too. I don't own a shower. DD also has one every day, we never share bath water either and our water bill is £30 a month.

HarshingMyMellow · 31/07/2018 22:25

Every single night, without fail.

In the hot weather a shallow warm bath with salts and oils, windows wide open and a cooling mint body scrub.

In the colder weather a boiling hot, nearly overflowing bath. Loads of bubbles, candles, red wine and a face mask.

PinkBuffalo · 31/07/2018 22:28

Never. I've had the bath removed & a nice shower unit in place instead.

pallisers · 31/07/2018 22:34

It is probably 10 years or more. I doubt anyone in our house has had a bath for 7 years or so. We renovated our main bathroom recently and only kept the bath for resale value. the teens would probably have preferred if I had put in a big walk-in shower.

I would rather wash myself in the sink than get into someone else's bathwater (sharing a bath with dh in a slightly romantic fashion would be different - our bath isn't big enough for that).

takeittakeit · 01/08/2018 00:16

not ha a bath in 10 yrs!!

Showers all the way

alwaysiero · 01/08/2018 00:24

At least once a week. Shower daily for cleaning, hair wash and shaving but the bath just for having a good long soak. My job involves walking for about five hours a day so a hot bath with salts and oils is lovely.

SavageBeauty73 · 01/08/2018 00:25

Never bath but shower everyday

Tutulafromage · 01/08/2018 00:27

Everyday.....i don't have a shower in my bathroom.

JustlikeDevon · 01/08/2018 00:41

Never. Boring as fuck.

tor8181 · 01/08/2018 00:43

twice a day(when ever i get up then before i get in to bed)but in all the heatwave 4/5 times

i dont sweat so my body overheats and the only way to cool me down is a tepid bath

i do a lot of facials and home spa treatments and use regular deep hair masks so sit lay there for ages reading a magazine

between 4 people living here the bath gets run 5 times a day in the heat way more

its a good thing im not on a meter

Butterflykissess · 01/08/2018 00:44

Daily. I dont have a shower and cant afford to instal one so its the only option. HATE them though.

tor8181 · 01/08/2018 00:47

InsomniacAnonymous · 01/08/2018 00:51
