To feel terrified after reading the prepping for Brexit threads?

I have genuinely cried real tears of fear after reading the threads on prepping for Brexit today. I have a toddler and right now I am terrified of what is to come and their future after all this.

I don't really have anyone to talk to about this in 'real life' because most people I know aren't reading the news or don't seem to care.

Should I be terrified? Should I be scared for my baby's future? Can anyone reassure me or offer me an alternative perspective on all this. I don't want to to put my head in the sand but I feel really afraid.

Because on all available evidence so far, this govt is in the running for managing biggest fuckup in the history of fuckups! It's utter madness!

But rainbows - there is already evidence that the vote was interfered with by outside agents. One campaign group broke the law. Apart from that, it is now clear that no-one in charge has any idea what they are doing and they are setting this country on a dangerous route. It was an advisory referendum. It was non-binding. It absolutely is not anti-democratic to stop this now.

If Brexit is stopped (and I think that unlikely btw, hence my panic and fear), then there would likely be another general election, where people can make their views on that known.
