I love George.

He did have a serious drug addiction for years you know, I think he’s amazing for turning his life around & getting well again, when he could have easily spiralled totally out of control.

Yeah we've all kidnapped and chained people to radiators then beaten them accidently. A simple screw up.

I know programmes are edited for effect, but the lack of interaction between him and the Irish singers in the pub was stark.

I thought that about the Irish singers. On fact I wondered if they had been filmed separately from him and the two clips were just kind of merged so he was never actually in the pub at the same time as them.

I used to like his witty personality, but musically, so so. I didn't realise he had 'previous' re the incident with the escort, which has shocked me tbh. I thought that was a drug induced one off? So much for his famous "I'd rather have a cup of tea than have sex" quote.

Please believe me when I say that there were two IRAs - one before the Treaty and the split- and the subsequent Provos. A relative was in the old IRA of which I am proud, but his widow refused a 21 gun salute at his funeral some 60 years later( which I agreed with if it matters). I was in London at the time of the Canary Wharf bombing and so so afraid for my family and all who were working there. The IRA that Gerry Adams was part of has never had any support from me or mine.

Surferjet-he went to prison for false inprisonment and sexual assault. The fact that he served time means that the offences must have been serious. Do you think Rolf Harris should be back on the telly as soon as he gets out?
